I bought this for my sons 2DS and it works perfectly. I believe it is a great size for him but if the need comes I will defiantly buy he another one. I have herd you could put other SD cards in a DS but then I read that some are not formatted right and wont work, so i decided not to take chance and bought him the one that is made for a DS. so far he has 1 game downloaded to it and has taken a lot of pictures and we have not had a issue with it.

This is a solid SDHC card (and not too bad for the money as it's priced now). It's Nintendo DS branded (although it's just a standard 8GB SDHC card that should work in just about anything that needs one). I'm currently using this one in my Atari Flashback Portable with good success. I've bought SanDisk SD cards for years and I've never had any problems with their memory products (they're solid and dependable).

This is nice and specifically for DS. It's hard to tell or know when you can get the "off-brand" or knock off, and when you should go with more approved products and this works just fine. Because DS can only hold a certain type and amount, getting like a 16GB and not being able to use it isn't fun.

Purchased this for my girls as they're not heavy gamers and lose their cartridge games. Most of major Nintendo games (eg. Mario, Zelda) are under a gigabyte each so this makes much sense and is an official Nintendo licensed product. So you buy with peace of mind.

The memory card arrived on time. I order it for my Nintendo 3DS or DSI. It works with Wii too. So I recommend you getting this for those game system. Especially for the 3DS for downloading games.

i bought this thinking it was something else and i shipped it to my moms house so i didn't see it for over a month because she lost it and i didn't bother returning it but its a solid card with sub usb2.0 speeds and i had to format it for some reason probably corrupted data because it was made between 6-8 years ago.

Item works perfectly as described. I could have went with a cheaper non/nintendo brand of SD card but I stuck with the nintendo brand just to be on the safe side since it is going into a Nintendo DSi.
