Excellent, and auto recognized by Samsung Galaxy S6
Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2017Excellent, and was auto recognized by my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone via the external OTG Card Reader Adapter.
Samsung did a really dumb thing and didn't include a memory card slot on the Galaxy S6. You could only have a 32GB or 64GB S6 phone, which was dumb-butt stupid. 32GB was depleted quickly, and the 64GB phone was way overpriced. Sounds like something the minions at Apple would do.
Today is 02APR2017, and a few days ago, they announced the upcoming 20APR2017 release of the Galaxy S8. It's supposed to be extremely expensive, but worth it. I was very close to planning on upgrading my S6 to S8, for the specific purpose of having a good phone with a external memory card slot.
Thank God I didn't. That would have been another $900+ phone, and another 2yr commitment. My S6 is still a very good phone, minus the missing microSD card slot. More importantly, I only owe $80 more until it's paid off. They can keep that overpriced S8, and I'll keep my $900.
I found a much better, and more affordable solution, by combining the two items (128GB microSDxc card, and Vanja SD card reader) listed below.
Just slide the memory card into the reader, then plug the mini reader (smaller than a USB stick/thumb drive) into your phone (via the microSD slot, or the new USB Type-C slot). Voila, 128GB (119GB available) of much needed additional storage space "on the cheap." The phone recognizes it immediately.
**NOTE** Your phone must be OTG (On The Go) capable. If you don't know what that means, just Google it. Or, search for "OTG" in the Google Play Store, and download an OTG checker App. It will tell you if your phone is OTG ready.
IT'S SIMPLE... just combine the two items below and you're set, for a total cost of $54.95. It's so nice to be able to store and watch movies and videos again. With ease, mind you. :)
**NOTE** The Vanja Memory card Reader will say (in it's description box), that it only supports up to 64GB sdcards. That's a misprint. My 128GB microSDXC card works fine, without any issues.
Enjoy!!

Works perfectly in my Note 4
Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2015I purchased this because I had run out of space on my old Samsung micro SDXC UHS-1 Card PRO 64GB Class 10 for Galaxy Note 2 II. That card had followed me from a Note II to a Note 3 to my current Note 4. I was a little concerned about compatibility and reliability because a few years ago tried to save a buck by getting a tier 2 brand card that literally melted down.
This time I took a chance with this non-Samsung card and cannot be more pleased. For one thing, the transfer from my old card to this one did not cause this to get hot. Considering that there was about 29GB involved that was my first indication that this is a well made card.
Another thing is after I transferred the contents to this card (via a card reader), as soon as I popped it into my Note 4, it immediately mounted and everything on the older card was there. I took the time to look for corrupted files, sampled a lot of random music, and checked a few videos. Zero issues and the Note 4 did not balk at this card or any of the files on it.
As for speed, I am not going to make claims one way or the other. I did not test it with benchmarking software, and since I use this mainly for streaming music the additional speed (if any) is not noticeable anyway. What is noticeable is the total compatibility with my Note 4 and the extra breathing room the capacity provides me.
Overall I am not only pleased, I feel as though this card is a better value than the Samsung brand cards that I had been purchasing. And every bit as reliable too.

SanDisk Ultra 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter
Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2016Like a Dummy, I was recommended ScanDisk for an Apple that should have had a Sims Card. The good news if you haven't already got the ScanDisk caught in your Apple, you can buy a card reader through Apple and still use it. Which is what I'm doing. I still haven't got the ScanDisk out of my Apple, but isn't really too much of a problem and I hope it doesn't start to be. My Apple Tablet seem to work fine and I could have fooled around with it myself to get it out, but figured I should let the sleeping lion lay. To find the solution to my problem, I contacted Scan Disk and they were of no use at all. In fact they said that an Apple doesn't even have a memory slot ? That isn't true, it is obvious, but they did mention Apple and like a fool, I thought why not call Apple. Apple was totally Awesome and got an awesome review. They told me about the reader. The reason that I gave a rating of 4 stars is because it is a good disk, and the seller was willing to send me another at no charge. The seller was helpful in other ways as well. So I don't hold it against them. Just feel they need to pay more attention to a buyers question. If your like me, we can think of many that do the same thing everyday and doesn't seem to cause a problem except to annoy the one not being heard and sometimes causing the need to repeat things more than once. Well no wonder. That is why we have two ears in the first place. So I'm waiting for my reader to come. From now on, if I have an Apple Concern, I will go to Apple. It only makes sense to go to the manufacturer. It was late and I just wasn't thinking and yes, some companies are up 24/7 to help buyers and I appreciate that. I do hope my review helps someone that may be in a position like I was, it is embarassing, but I can't be the only one that has ever done something like this. So now a little more information, you use a Sims on an Apple, so you don't get the ScanDisk stuck in your tablet

As advertised!
Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2016This does what it's supposed to do. I bought this to put in an HTC one m8 as I was running out of storage from a previous 32 gb SD card. This SD card was great. I was worried at first because every affordable 128gb micro SD card I could find on Amazon had reviews saying the card had to be formatted several times after only taking up a few gbs of space and that it would corrupt your data. There were even reviews saying that the actual space you could occupy and advertised space were different. It was something ridiculous like only 2fb. I decided to bite the nail on this card specifically because it had the least amount of those type of reviews and I also have other SanDisk storage devices , an ssd and usb, and those haven't had any problems. I'm happy to say I found no issues with this SD card either. I filled it up with 117 gb worth of random videos I have stored on my PC just to make sure the storage amount was as advertised and all usable and it is. I am only going to be using this on a phone for apps, videos, and photos but have no knowledge as to if the read and write speeds are as advertised. Transferring those 117gb worth of data took a while but not any longer than I expected. That is a lot of data but not many people would be moving that much data that often anyway. All I know is that this SD card works welI. I haven't had it very long so Isn't say anything about lifespan if anything changes I will update this review. I recommend picking it up.

128 GIGS? OKAY, SO WHAT'S NEXT, ALREADY?
Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2016Okay now, I'll gleefully stand by the SanDisc Ultra, without doubts or questions, but not before making some observations. Even before Al Gore invented the Internet (just kidding, Mister Vice-President) there was no way to properly store my priceless collection of books. The internet FINALLY came along, followed by Kindle Fire, etc., ad infinitum, and the ability to access a Multitude-to-the-12th-Power books - some worth reading, and I'd like to believe I've collected many of them well-worth the time to read, while in my Senior Years. This is mentioned because several items stand out. First, too many friends have stopped by the homestead here in the quiet Hamlet of Davisville, WV and commented, "Nice collection of books, Phil. Do ya think you'll live long enough and get to read them all?" Excellent point, and the answer is "Nope." Not even if I don't read most of the cookbook collection's recipes. Kindle makes it possible to stash a healthy bunch of fantastic and fascinating writings on the specialized tablet, and no one really cares until you show them what a Fire can do, and when my friends realize what a Kindle can do for them, they've become Amazon's next new customer. Now, another point; does a tablet have the same "Feel" as a book? Of course not! But as time has gone onward, a Kindle Fire hundreds of miles away form my home library feels really, really good in hand! I recently sent a SanDisc Ultra to a Lady "Galfriend" who has so many books, she maxxed out her KF and cell phone. Now, she's to be found reading away down by the riverside when she's not waving to Tugboat Captains and Crews. The Ultra with adapter and micro SDXC has replenished her life with even more books and more reasons to go down to the river to read in the glorious shade. Me? Hey, I'm happy to have helped a friend who will indeed pass along the favor to another, who will pass along... This is not anything like a Monster, other than this being something which just may kiss and lick ya to death. The price is excellent, and was probably an antique when it landed in this town. Some kid in the 3rd Grade is probably engineering a 2 Terrabyte SDXC, and you will see these 128 GB micros being practically given away at the nearby Salvation Army Thrift. Three years ago, I was asking a Geekazoid what a Terabyte was, and it wasn't but a mere quarter of a Century ago the Vic Commodore 64 was the end-all-be-all of Post Cold-War genius, where no one dreamed of having a 128 TERRABYTE (Are you KIDDING?) card to slide into a 4-Byte digital camera. Someday, someone will look at this "Dinosaur" and tell me how dumb I was to think the price for this Baby wasn't such a big deal. SanDisc, yeah, you "got" me, but that's only because I couldn't find the time to await your selling a 128 Terrabyte micro for nearly the same price as this 128 Gigger, and a computer which would work with it. Keep amazing me, okay, and I'll keep buying from you guys. Love from Davisville, Almost Heaven, ~Phil

5 Stars of Portable Music and Cat Videos
Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2015This is -- hands down -- the best card in the world! It not only allows me to store 128 GB of data (well, actually not that much due to formatting, system stuff and the difference between how engineers calculate available space and how marketing calculates available space), it also allows me to do so in such a small space. It's smaller than my thumbnail! After inserting it into my Samsung S5, I was able to download all the music I wanted on my phone -- and still have plenty of room to spare for cat videos! I also noticed that, while my phone was slightly heavier after putting the card in the slot (but only slightly and only if I was using a scale that measured in tenths of grams), there was no noticeable difference at all when I held it -- and definitely lighter than if I had to carry the 100s of records around (or CDs or tapes or 8-tracks, take your pick) that represented my music library. Also, it's much easier to hold all my cat videos than it is to hold all the cats in said cat videos!

In all seriousness, it's a microSD card that it works as expected. Unless you get one from a bad lot, you won't be disappointed if what you're looking for is a 128GB microSD card.

Great little chip I am happy with it.
Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2016no problems so far and it was cheap! a lot of other sites and memory cards similar are 90$! it seems to transfer really quickly! Something I noticed is once it's installed it only reads as 119 GB not 128 which is a little odd. maybe its something to do with how my tablet formats it? ether way I could really care less about a missing 9 GB big whoop. I found out though the 200 GB one will work just fine in anything that says it supports up to 128 GB. I didn't know this tell after I ordered or I would of got the 200 GB. 150 GB total though is just ridiculous for a tablet anyways. I suppose it would be good for movies? but why wouldn't you have wifi or service? So why would you need movies? there is this thing these days called the internet.

Victor H.U.Go5 out of 5 starsfeliz y contento con esta memoriota grandotota :)
MUCHAS GRACIAS !!!!!

sidewinder5 out of 5 starsSuper Karte, Geschwindigkeit passabel, viel Speicherplatz

The Amz Reviewer5 out of 5 starsPerfect Storage solution for Cameras, Android Phones and Tablets
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 7, 2016I'm an IT Professional and I've stored my music, ebooks, pictures and documents in the cloud (like Dropbox, GDrive, One Drive) and It's about 70GB altogether. Cloud-based solutions are great but annoying when you're on the move and can't access a file because of network connectivity issues. Having a copy on an SD card for instant access of all my essential items seemed the logical choice.
I've used SanDisk in the past without any issues and they know the criteria for any SD card should be:
A) Big enough for your current storage needs and has additional space for expansion as your data grows.
B) Fast. A slow SD card will just lead to eventual frustration with unreliable transferring and lag when accessing your files.
C) A quality company, if you are spending money on a card, you want to know it's reliable, robust and keeps your data safe. SanDisk doesn't manufacture TV's or PC's. Its core business model is memory. If you want the best that money can buy, stick with the experts.
This Sandisk Card, in my opinion, gets tops marks for fulfilling all of these requirements.
6 Important Tips and Hints:
1) Formatting.
It comes formatted in exFAT. Do NOT reformat it. Leave it as it is. I know NTFS is supposed to be faster and allows bigger file sizes, I tried to format mine to NTFS and my new android phone didn't recognise it. I put it back into my PC to reformat it again and bizarrely it wouldn't allow me to. ( perhaps some weird driver issue on my machine) Luckily I have another brand new PC that it did allow me to reformat back to exFAT. Just a heads up to avoid unnecessary drama.
2) Creating a Copy Of Your Cloud Files for Offline Use.
I was unable to specify where Gdrive, Dropbox and One Drive are stored on my (not rooted) phone. I wanted it to point to my SD card so I could store everything in one place using the files and folders structures I created. None of the Cloud Solutions I use would allow this. As a viable workaround, I've created a manual copy of my Cloud Storage in the SD Card and perform a manual sync every couple of months to ensure I have an up-to-date copy of my cloud items. I suspect the issue is not going to be made any easier as these companies want to lock you into their cloud plans and be your one stop shop solution for the storage of your data.
3) Difference between the advertised size and the usable space on the SDcard
In the background an algorithm runs on the card to ensure that wear and tear on the card is evenly spread out to make your card last longer. If an error occurs resulting in a bad sector on the card it swaps out space it's saved for itself and gives it back to you. Both these events occur to ensure that your card remains stable, lasts longer and keeps your data safe, In order for these actions occur the card needs to keep some space on the card for itself in order for this to happen.
4) Packaging.
If you go for the standard packaging instead of frustration-free ( I always do to check it's legitimate and not a cheap knockoff) make sure you have a pair of scissors or a knife on hand to get the card out. This may seem obvious, but you run the risk of breaking the sd card if you can't wait to try out your card and twist the packaging with your hands to get the card out.
5) Transferring Files from Your PC using the Micro SD Adaptor or FTP.
To Transfer files from your computer to your tablet or phone you can use the Micro SD adaptor supplied free with the card. In this instance, you must have a MicroSD adaptor slot on your PC or have a USB Micro SD adaptor attached. Alternatively, you can purchase a WIFI / FTP app from the Google Play store to transfer files via WIFI.
6) Using this MicroSD card for use on ANY compatible device.
Although this MicroSD card (also known as a TF card) is called "Ultra Android" You can use this SD card in Cameras and Mini computers such as the Raspberry Pi and Arduino as well as ANY ANDROID based PHONE or TABLET that has a Micro SD expansion slot. I suspect SanDisk added "Android" in the heading because the most popular usage is for Android Phones and Tablets. Just check on the side of your phone or tablet for a MicroSD Slot. If you're unsure, double check on your product manufacturers website.
