Why Israel’s existence is a theological crisis for fundamentalist Islam

Peloni:  Take a look into the mindset of the Islamic Jihadists and what actually fuels their motivations against the Jews.

The conflict is not ultimately about borders, but about Jewish sovereignty, Jerusalem, and the future of history.

CANADA HAS A PALESTINE PROBLEM

The Liberal government’s pursuit of Muslim and pro-Palestinian voters has helped legitimize a movement whose hostility toward Israel increasingly follows Canadian Jews into their schools, synagogues, campuses and neighborhoods.

Canada has a Palestine problem.

It has allowed a foreign nationalist cause to become a domestic political weapon, a public loyalty test, and an excuse for treating Canadian Jews as representatives of a country thousands of kilometers away.

Synagogue Wins Battle Against Blue County To Use Guns For Protection

Peloni:  Bravo!  The bridging of the Second Amendment right to bear arms with the First Amendment to the freedom of religion provides the basis on which the freedom of religion might be practiced with impunity.   The very purpose of terrorism is to weaponize fear against the defenseless.  An armed public provides a strong defense against such tactics being successful. Every Jew (and Gentiles too) a 22.  Enough said.

The Giggling: Mamdani whoops it up with AOC at 9/11 memorial as victims’ names were being read

Peloni:  The literal personification of the Red-Green axis are mocking the somber ceremony commemorating those who perished in the worst terrorist attack in American history.  They just can’t resist in telling the world what they really are.  No apology is necessary, as the truth told in this moment frozen in time will serve to explain the truth to many who might still not grasp who these people are.

Sure he sounded pious.

After 9/11 victims created a petition asking New York City’s current Marxist-Islamist Mayor Zohran Mamdani not to come to the 9/11 remembrance memorial on the 25th anniversary of the attack, and were joined by 100,000 others, Mamdani came to the event anyway. He was going to be there whether the victims liked it or not.

The Re-Zionization of the West

Peloni:  I have mentioned this before but it is highly relevant to Dan Burwami’s thesis below.  America and Israel each in turn found inspirations in each other’s history when America was founded and Israel was reconstituted.  Of course, Israel’s history goes back three millennia, and America’s goes back but 250 years, but America sought to emulate itself around the principles favored by the Founding Fathers in the history of the ancient Hebrew commonwealth, and in so doing, it created what would become the foundation of the Western world.  Simultaneously, the founding of Israel saw the image of its own history displayed in American governance, reinforcing the template of its own heritage in reconstituting the state of Israel.  So when Burwami finds the relevance of Zionism being close to the core of Western civilization, the overlap which exists between the Zionist project and the Western world predates the establishment of both the reconstitution of Israel and the founding of America.  Hence, the the principles of the ancient Hebrew nation which exists in both the American and Zionist projects are what has risen to both strengthen the West, while also drawing the ire of its enemies into forging the current alliance which stands poised to defeat both of these great nations, as discussed in detail below.

On September 11, 2001, the world watched as nineteen men turned commercial airliners into weapons of mass murder. Nearly three thousand people died in the space of a few hours. The perpetrators left no ambiguity: they acted in the name of Islam, citing the Qur’an and the example of Muhammad as they struck what they saw as the heart of unbelief. For a brief, clarifying moment, the mask slipped. The ideology that had animated centuries of conquest, subjugation, and doctrinal absolutism stood exposed in the dust and fire of Manhattan, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania. Here was Islam as a political system that commands its followers to fight until the religion of Allah reigns supreme.

The Roar of the Lion

By Ari Bussel
Translated by Peloni

At the beginning of the century, just as at the beginning of the previous century, there was a global pandemic. In between, we completely forgot that there had even been a previous pandemic. The difference between the two is very significant: the one that broke out in 2019 was the product of human action, and the person responsible from the outset became a national hero and a celebrity, received a full presidential pardon, and now he is laughing at us all.

The Challenge of Change

Leonard Grunstein

It’s almost Rosh Hashanah, when the sound of the shofar shakes our complacency as a call to action.

Rosh Hashanah is the time when the world is judged. And it’s also a time for introspection, reckoning, heartfelt prayers and tears. Even the most pious can’t help feeling some trepidation at the self-reflection required.

In Cecil B. DeMille’s 1956 cinematic epic, The Ten Commandments, there is a scene of profound moral collapse that serves as a timeless mirror. Moses descends from Mount Sinai, cradling the law of God, only to find his people spiraling into chaos. At the center of this betrayal stands Dathan—played with chilling, self-serving malice by Edward G. Robinson.

Yemeni Houthis complete takeover of Bab el-Mandeb Strait as Saudi forces falter, US holds off air support

Peloni:  MBS is reaping the reward of having forced the UAE out of this conflict, literally with a BANG as it bombed the UAE war shipments.  Simultaneously, Saudi Arabia has rebuffed any normalization with Israel which could also have aided Iran in its current moment of need.  Instead, MBS has chosen to align itself with the Islamist states of Turkey and Pakistan.   Notably the leadership in Riyadh is acting in support of the radicals on its streets, but they have boxed themselves into a situation in which they have lost all control of the military situation, and given that the Saudis have struggled to face off against the Houthis over the past decade with spectacular effect even with a coalition of outside parties, it should surprise no one that facing the Houthis alone has left it in a state of complete disaster as its erstwhile Mecca Agreement remains unsupported by actions of those nations who saw this agreement as a political device by which to try to isolate Israel in the region.  Well, as the Houthis stand on shores of the strategic waterway of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, we have to ask who is it that is actually being isolated…  MBS was a man of vision, and he has constructed many important reforms in his nation, but he did so while leading the nation from the front, rather than trailing from behind as he followed the orders of his Islamist inclined citizens.  His state of hysteria and desperation is the culmination of his faltering to lead in support of the vision for which he once advocated.  Such follies as this in the Middle East are rarely left unaddressed.

The Day Everything Changed

Peloni:  On a day which commemorates the terror which shrouded the world in darkness on 9/11, but also instills the joy of celebrating the Jewish New Year, this reflection by Pamela Geller remains a hollowing reminder that the lesson of 9/11 is not that the West was struck a blow explicitly announcing the Jihadi war on it, but that national solidarity would in the wake of that tragedy would be the trigger which kept the West from falling.  In the nearly three decades that followed, the union between the Left, the Communists and the Jihadis has left its mark on the strength of the West and more acutely on the US.  What follows now, as was true about what followed then, will be determined by America’s ability to unify against its enemies, but today the enemies stand far more entrenched in the power structures of America than was true in 2001.  How this dilemma is approached will determine how successful America will be in facing down the incroaching war of subjugation which was only announced 25 years ago, but which had begun long before that.

FDR Said It Couldn’t Be Done

Peloni:  FDR provided a textbook example of what happens when the fate of Jews are left to those who despise them.  Unlike in 1938, as men like Burnham tries to outdistance his predecessor on his policies of Jew Hatred to appease and distract the monsters in his constituencies, it is important to reflect and rejoice upon the fact that we Jews have reconstituted our own nation, which is recognized and founded with the support of sound international law and principles.  Hence, the retort of those who would prefer, like FDR did and Burnham does, to see our people decimated and destroyed in a cauldron of evil will find that the fate of the Jewish people is no longer the exclusively the playthings of psychopaths who revel in our abuse.

Over 30 years ago, historian and social critic Deborah Lipstadt wrote a powerful book, Denying the Holocaust, warning the public about the dangers of this pernicious ideology. This year, I was drawn to this book because debates are raging again, this time amplifying across social media, about the truth of World War II, what happened in the death camps, and how we sift out the truth from the lies.

Israel destroys key Hezbollah underground command center in southern Lebanon in earth-shaking detonation

Peloni:  The symbolism of this victory over Iran’s reach into Lebanon is important, even as it remains limited.  Hezbollah still controls significant influence in Lebanon, and still controls enough influence to maintain control over Lebanon’s military so as to prevent Lebanon from fulfilling its commitments in the so-called pilot program in which Hezbollah has streamed back into these territories which had been left for the LAF to defend against Hezbollah returning.  The laudable expectations of Washington’s efforts following the calls of Lebanese officials for peace with Israel and an end to Iranian tyranny became a laughable teaching moment for anyone so misguided as to believe that the Lebanese statements would be cemented by actions matching the strength and independence invoked by their statements.  Even as all of this has been well exposed, Washington had intended that the Israeli pilot program relinquishing territory to Lebanon to secure against Hezbollah would continue and expand.  This belies the commitment of Washington to ignore actual realities on the ground while pursuing historical rhetoric as if the realities did not breach acknowledged Red Lines which underlined the pilot program and demonstrated its immediate failure in the same instant.  Expected followup meetings between Israel and Lebanon have now been delayed until October, but the Lebanese can not free themselves from the tyranny of Iran so long as Iran remains in the control of the IRGC.  The priority of regime change in Iran remains the pivotal marker following which the influence of Iran’s proxies might be rendered moot.  Hence, until such time as Iran is freed from its internal state of tyranny by the IRGC, Lebanon will be maintained in its own state of external tyranny by the IRGC.  It really is that simple.
