Ola! ~ Abierto/Open

Ya esta abierta la inscripcion online para los talleres de Ola, en Hayama, vengan!
Tambien pueden venir a partir del sabado a ver como va la muestra, ahora estamos muy entretenidos con un nuevo invernadero... ademas, hay un monton de cosas geniales para hacer en el festival.
Esperamos verlos por aca!

The online reservation for the workshops in Hayama is up, so pick your workshop! Also, from Saturday on you can come see how the show and our new greenhouse are shaping up, and enjoy all the cool things at Hayama Fest. Hope to see you around!

Ola

Ya llega 'Ola', un proyecto con waitingroom y habitable para el festival de Hayama en Japón de abril a mayo.
Vamos a hacer un taller con Lullatone en una escuela, a arreglar el jardín de los chicos de prescolar, un taller con Mumbreeze y uno con Yoyo (de Vegge Shokudo). ¡Estamos muy contentos!.
También van a haber fanzines, mar, patios y mucho más.

'Ola' is coming soon, a project with waitingroom and habitable for the Hayama fest in Japan from April to May.
We'll be doing workshops with Lullatone at a preschool and fixing the preeschool garden, also a workshop with Mumbreeze and one with Yoyo (from Vegge Shokudo). We are very happy!
There will be zines, sea, people's backyards and more.

Muestra colectiva con Maricel Nowacki, Silvia Lenardón, Lola Goldstein y Pablo Cabrera.
Esta instalación colectiva se realizó en el espacio de vitrina del CCEBA, fue resultado de una planificación conjunta entre los autores. Para la ocasión Mejunje, en colaboración con Pablo Cabrera, construyó estanterías para algunas de las piezas y portalamparas para la iluminación. Además de maderas, dibujos y grabados.

Group show along argentine artists Lola Goldstein, Pablo Cabrera, Maricel Nowacki and Silvia Lenardón. The outcome was the result of the collaboration between the artists. Mejunje, in collaboration with Pablo Cabrera, provided custom-made wooden structures, wood objects and created the lighting devices.

Mejunje Tigre,
Junio/ June 2008

Limitando el trabajo a un fin de semana en Tigre, se armaron instalaciones mezclando materiales encontrados en los alrededores con objetos llevados, utilizando como soporte los árboles del lugar.
Los resultados fueron fotografiados en 35 mm.

For this piece we imposed on ourselves certain rules or limitations: the working timeframe would be 2 days, and the resulting structure of the piece would be made out of found material. We ended up using tree trunks as our main support. The only things we took to the site were our working tools and fabric. The result was photographed in 35 mm.

Mejunje Lincoln
Julio de 2008 / July 2008

Basta de tonteras, Artistas del Rojas en Lincoln. Museo de Arte de Lincoln (MUBAL), Lincoln,
Pcia. de Buenos Aires.

Estuvimos en Lincoln un total de 4 días. No llevamos materiales, sólo herramientas. Durante los dos primeros días recorrimos el lugar y comenzamos a recoger materiales de descarte, que ensamblamos durantes los dos siguientes. Fue decisivo y enriquecedor para el proyecto el haberse realizado en un espacio público (utilizado principalmente por los taxistas de la zona), porque dio lugar a un intercambio con la comunidad.

The Lincoln project consisted on restoring an abandoned Taxi stop within the timeframe of four days (the period of time we were invited by the local authorities). We only carried our working tools, consisting on basic and portable items (hand saw, drill, hammer, nails, etc.) and for the first two days walked around town looking for materials and potting indigenous plants and weeds. The rest of our time was spent working on the site. Being on the street, it proved a very enriching experience to be able to exchange ideas with passerby and cab drivers, which were the main users of the stop.
