I didn't use the pattern's sleeves. Burda designed the sleeves to be cut on the bias and the pattern shape is indeed a bit weird (elongated and asymmetric) to accommodate how the fabric would move differently on bias grain. I didn't have enough fabric to cut bias sleeves so instead I used the sleeves from another knit pattern: McCall's 6844. It does look like a lighter fabric would work wonderfully for you. The fit is there but agree fabric a bit heavy, but a great color.

Hi, the fit is good and standard for Burda. I am a pear shape, and I usually wear size 40 at bust and waist and 42 at hips. However, I never have to make other adjustments like full bust. At most I sometimes make a sway back adjustment. Since the skirt flares out and with the drape I thought I didn't need to grade to 42 at the hips and I was right. The shoulders could probably go down one size, but that might also be because my fabric is too heavy and the skirt drags everything down. Hope this helps!
