I had to cut a lot off the hem length on this one. If I make it again I'll redraw the skirt part of the pattern because cutting so much off messed up the diagonal seaming. The lowest seam runs into the hem rather than meeting the side seam on my dress. I also found it didn't really need the closures that the pattern includes. I sewed the centre back seam shut and applied the zip over the top as a purely decorative feature, and sewed the front opening shut rather than using snaps. (following adv...
