Francis Fukuyama is downright prophetic, isn’t he?
Unfortunately, I really believe that this is true for some people.
The thing nobody tells you about growing up is that seasons survive you.

Tuesday, September 8, 2026 Welcome to Uhmurica
Canada’s retaliatory tariffs on roughly $20 billion in U.S. goods took effect just after midnight ET on Tuesday, extending the trade war between the two countries. The tariffs range from 15% to 50%, with the steepest rate hitting American milk, perfume, video game consoles, golf clubs, fishing rods, steel, aluminum, jackets and T-shirts. Cheese, carpets, appliances like stoves and air conditioners, agricultural equipment and electronics face the 25% tier, while forklifts and industrial molds sit at 15%. American seafood was initially slated for 25% tariffs but got removed from the list after pushback from the lobster industry. Economists say the fallout could hit manufacturers in Michigan and Indiana particularly hard, along with dairy producers in Wisconsin and Vermont.

The sky this morning when I got up.
The Autumn 🍂 music 🎶 makers are out now at early morning and at dusk in the evenings. 🦗 🦗 I can hardly wrap my little challenged mind around another change in seasons already. I’m thinking about one gallon pots and cold seasons vegetables 🥗 for the first time in years. I should say I think about a little container gardening ever year but it has been years since I’ve actually felt like physically I may actually be able to pull it off. 😁. It would be fun to try anyway.
I played in the kitchen a while today. I made Cinnamon Swirl Bread, but of course, me being me, forgot to do the 'swirl' part when I put it in the pan. It still tastes delicious. :D
