• 9/11 Whistleblower Coleen Rowley on Continuing Perpetual War Propaganda

    Coleen Rowley is a former FBI special agent and division counsel. She wrote a May 2002 memo to the FBI’s then-Director Robert Mueller exposing some of the FBI’s pre-9/11 conduct. Later in 2002 she was named a Person of the Year by TIME, when the magazine reported: “Coleen Rowley is the FBI staff attorney who caused a sensation in May with a memo to FBI Director Robert Mueller about how the bureau brushed off pleas from her Minneapolis, Minn., field office that Zacarias Moussaoui, who is now indicted as a Sept. 11 co-conspirator, was a man who must be investigated.”

  • Israeli Military Funding of U.S. Universities Research

    New reporting from Drop Site News found that Israeli military institutions and weapons companies are funding military research at various U.S. universities. After reviewing state and university audits, research papers, funding disclosures and other records, journalists identified more than $15 million in funding that was unreported or inconsistently reported. Research at the universities includes projectile-impact prediction, autonomous micro-helicopters, high-speed rotorcraft, surveillance and human-activity recognition, target identification, network analysis, magnetic sensing and high-power microwave technology.

  • Farm Bill Stalls as SNAP Fight Continues

    The fight over federal food aid continued last week as the Senate farm bill got stuck over Supplemental Assistance Program (SNAP) cost-sharing requirements. Senate Democrats rejected Republicans’ proposed one-year delay in state cost-sharing requirements for SNAP. This is after HR1 cut SNAP spending by roughly $187 billion in 2025 and forced states with higher payment-error rates to begin paying part of SNAP benefit costs.

  • Governor Shapiro’s Decision on Data Centers

    Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania has signed an executive order directing the Department of Environmental Protection to limit new data center projects.
