Since 2021, Scottish Rite has administered more than 143,000 screenings, identified 88 emergent cases, and achieved an average response time of less than five minutes between positive screening and starting intervention protocols.

Boston Children's Hospital cut the average time from appointment request to scheduled visit from 31 days to 8 by adapting Epic's self-triage feature to its online scheduling process. The questionnaire gathers specialty-specific information up front, reducing follow-up calls and automatically generating appointment requests—helping scheduling staff respond faster and get children into care sooner.

Northwell Health developed a universal screening protocol to prevent, not just react to, firearm injuries and embedded it in Epic. Clinicians have screened more than 350,000 patients since 2020 and connected those at risk with evidence-based interventions specific to their needs, from free gun locks to community mentorship connections.
