I taught elementary school for 10 years. I spent seven amazing years as a 5th grade teacher, and 3 years as a K-6 computer specialist.
I have my technology endorsement and am eMINTS certified. I spent 3 years in the Teachers of American History grant program, have been a presenter at my district's summer literacy institute, and taught a class at the Utah Coalition of Educational Technology conference.

Teaching style
I like to have fun with my students. I teach using hands-on, inquiry based lessons. I prefer collaborative learning and love integrating technology as much as possible.
