Sports betting has been legal in the UK since 1960, with online betting governed by the revised UK Gambling Act 2005.

I think Tony @ 41 has got it right. They saw an outstanding business opportunity and had the nerve to take the punt. It has paid off handsomely as things stand at the moment.
I’m pretty sure we’ve been in a FA Cup Final in those years Tony #72, doesn’t that count?
To respond with, “you think you are annoyed…”, obviously isn’t a good move. I respect his statement while completely empathizing with those who have criticized the lapse.
Maybe this is a case where the fuckup is so obvious and well documented that nothing needs to be said. For me, the shock of failing to cover for Beto’s exit justifies the hysterical nature of some fans’ expression of frustration.
I’m not really a ‘let’s move on’ kind of guy until I have heard the responsible party break down the mistake. Angus showing up last match was a solid first step in healing from this debacle.
