Great for learning.
This app is really great. It sounds out letters as your child touches them, helping to learn the sounds of the letters. Kids are also building words so it will help with spelling. Placing the letters in the right place help tune motor skills. When you first load the app you are taken to a screen where you can choose the letter combination you want to practice. once you select that a window pops up or you to choose a word. for example in my pictures I chose "SH" and then the word shadow once your child has built the word a fun video begins to play. My 2 year old can play this game by himself! There is a bit of a learning curve but then what isn't when you are 2? I am planning on purchasing the full app. It is definitely worth it. I have attached a video of my 2 year old playing.

Exceeded Expectations Set By Originator's Endless Reader.

This app is amazing, I was amazed that it was on the same par, and then exceeded my expectations from Originator's Endless Reader. This is very well done :D My son loves the mini games added in the middle of his reading lessons :D

I am working with the Dev now to figure out why I am getting ads for another one of their games after paying for the app (which does require a triple tap to access), and they have assured me that there should be no ads on the home screen and I will report this interaction to the community :D I am excited to see other apps they offer and will likely be buying their entire library like I have with Originator as soon as each app launches.

For those who don't know what this app is about, you simply take letters and move them as you would with other puzzle apps to spell words. These words are geared to help children learn to read. While touching the letters, they make the sound of the letter being drug (very similar to Endless Words, and Endless Letters by Originator). 77SPARX has taken it to a new level by offering help for younger readers and giving guiding arrows after a few seconds of confused movement (to be fair this might happen if you just don't touch the screen, I just caught a glimpse of it with my daughter who is 3). As well it looks like they are offering combined letter phonics that is unique to their app. After a word is spelled a small animation showing what the means is played, which encourages further learning and holds a child's attention. The part that is amazing is that mini games have popped up after a few words have been read, giving further interaction with the characters that are teaching children to read. In all I never expected to want more from a reading app than I had with Endless Reader, but I thank the Developer for giving me exactly what I didn't know I needed!

Keep giving us apps that blow other educational into a whole new level for expected standards 77SPARX!

    Confident and Excited to Learn!

Our 3 1/2 yr old loves this app. He was very shy about reading and learning words originally. But, his confidence has grown tremendously since getting the app. He now gets very excited whenever he sees a sign in a store or while we are driving somewhere. He feels very proud when he is able to sound words out and more so when he can use it in a sentence. He struggled at first with the app but now it is one of his favorites. He could spend all day on this app, if we let him. He actually whines whenever we tell him it's time to stop. Of course it makes us feel very proud when folks ask us how old he is because of how well he speaks. All within four months of getting this app. We think this is a very good program. It keeps him very engaged and excited to learn.

If you have a child like mine who likes to be silly then your child may like this app. The silly characters are interesting and may help to hold your child's attention. Additionally I like how they group the consonant blends. The definition and sentences are also a good feature; that should help kids with word associations. If used for short periods of time this can be a good tool; however during longer periods, I think the characters are also distracting. I have only used the app a few times so I'm hesitant to state whether it is indeed effective.

This app is a wonderful, educational, and delightful game that allows the child to learn letter sounds, combinations, and boosts their vocabulary. My 4-year-old would play this for hours if I let him. It will incorporate nicely into our homeschooling curriculum. It only rates 4 stars since the full purchase price is a little steep, but considering the learning potential of this engaging game, I'm seriously considering the splurge.

My 4 year old daughter loves to play this game. She really likes how it is set up like 'episodes'. She had so much fun with the free stuff in the app that we unlocked all of the activities. We cannot recommend this app enough. It is a really good app for letter recognition and letter sounds and also learning new words!

So far I have been pleased with this app. I have been looking for a spelling app that my boys (2 & 6) can play by themselves. I have just downloaded the free version, but may end up purchasing the full version before too long. I like how my 2 year old can play it by himself. I also like the basic word families that are included. I'm not crazy about some of the words included in the app (ex. The word "snot" has a monster with boogers coming out of his nose) I'm not crazy about that, but my boys liked it. I wish more sight words from the Dolch list were included in the free version, but I'm satisfied at this point.

I am completely blown away by how much free stuff is in this app! And the quality is outstanding!

There are so many little mini games and quite a few of them are drag and drop letters to spell words. The game sounds them out for you and then says the word once complete. And the reward is a mini video relating to the word that was just spelled!

There is quite a bit for free and quite a bit that's locked. I'm going to let my little guy finish all the free stuff and definitely consider unlocking everything for him. It might be a good opportunity to get some letter learning skills in while he's having fun :)
