About this Item

  • GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD: The Tripp Trapp adjusts independently at both the seat and footplate, in height and depth, delivering a personalized ergonomic fit at every stage of childhood and beyond; the chair alone suits children from approximately age 3 and supports up to 242 lbs, so 1 chair serves through adulthood; optional accessories sold separately extend use from birth, eliminating the need to purchase multiple chairs as your family grows
  • TESTED FOR PEACE OF MIND: Crafted from European beech wood and JPMA-certified, the Tripp Trapp is independently tested to ASTM safety standards and meets CPSIA requirements for children's products, giving parents confidence in the materials surrounding their child; the finish is designed with child safety in mind; everyday cleanup is simple: wipe the seat with a damp cloth and dry, keeping the chair ready for the next meal without fuss
  • ADAPTS FROM BIRTH WITH OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: This listing is the chair unit only, suited for children from approximately age 3 on its own; to seat younger children, Stokke offers the Newborn Set (birth to 20 lbs) and the Baby Set with harness (for children approximately 6-36 months who can sit unaided), both sold separately; a compatible tray and cushions are also available separately, letting you configure the right setup for your infant, toddler, or growing child
  • SOLID WOOD CONSTRUCTION BUILT TO LAST: The Tripp Trapp is built from solid wood throughout, supporting up to 242 lbs (110 kg) with a stable, wide base measuring 18.11 in wide and 19.29 in deep; at 31.1 in tall, it fits flush against a standard dining table; JPMA safety testing and the broad footprint provide confidence against tipping during active mealtime use; designed as a permanent dining chair, it transitions naturally from feeding time to homework, crafts, and family gatherings
  • RESPONSIBLY SOURCED SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN: The Tripp Trapp is crafted from FSC-certified wood from responsibly managed forests and manufactured in the European Union; available in multiple colors with beech and oak finish options, it complements modern and traditional dining rooms alike; because it serves a child from toddler years through adulthood, it replaces several conventional high chairs over time; Stokke offers replacement parts separately to support long-term use
