Making The Bed is Made Easier

I am disabled and suffer from chronic pain including in my hands and have arthritis in both shoulders. As I’m only just forty I’m always on the lookout for things that will make my day to day life easier and allow me to maintain as much independence as possible.

Having used this a number of times to assist me in changing my bed I’ve found that it is helpful in tucking sheets in under the mattress, however I haven’t managed to get a neat or tight tuck yet.

Though this item is not inexpensive it is very well made, and, unlike other versions I’ve spotted, has a grip shaped handle with an overlay of a rubber type material. It’s moulded plastic so is one whole piece, discounting the overlay on the grip.

I can definitely recommend this item to anyone else who is looking for ways to help making the bed easier for them.

I paid extra to order via Amazon Prime because I wanted it quickly and because I was unsure whether it would work with my slatted base. Therefore, it was rather pricey. However, it’s a solid piece of kit! I’m in my 70s and have arthritis in my shoulder. I’m able to wedge it under my mattress (making sure it sits firmly on one of the slats), which leaves me with 2 hands to slip one corner of the fitted sheet into place. I then repeat the exercise on the other corners. Makes life much easier and causes a lot less huffing and puffing! I’d certainly recommend to others - especially if they have similar problems with changing bedding. I’m pleased I bought it.

Absolutely fantastic gadget. I have arthritis in my shoulder and hands, and lifting the corners of my heavy mattress to put on fitted sheets was so painful. This has been a complete game changer.

We bought this item as, due to medical issues,we are unable to lift our very heavy mattress to change the bedding. This was one of the few items of this type that didn't come as a pair and it was also the same price or more expensive than those that did. But having read other reviews I felt this was probably more solid and stronger so would suit our purpose.

The old saying 'you only get what you pay for' def rings true here. This is a solid very good weight item which def does the job, it lifts enough to tuck the sheet in with ease. We will carry on with one for now but may eventually decide to buy the second so we can do the bed together.

I am sorry we didn't know about this sooner as it would have saved us struggling.More publicity needed to save more backs !!

This is a very good sturdy product, easy to use, and definitely helpful with our heavy orthopaedic mattress. However, one of our beds has a raised lip around the base, and it doesn’t work as well on that bed. Hence one star deduction.
