Good if you can get at a decent price... Definitely not worth 3k+

Cooling and build

The RTX 5090 delivers insane performance.

Games run flawlessly at ultra settings.

Ray tracing looks incredible and smooth.

DLSS makes a noticeable difference in frame rates.

The card runs surprisingly cool for its power.

It is expensive, but the performance justifies the price.

Overall, it’s a top-tier GPU for enthusiasts!

It’s quiet, fast, and extremely powerful, easy to install. I love how I can not worry about my pc not crashing or playing on the lowest settings possible now I can play on any without worrying anymore and will last me years and years

This card is an absolute monster in performance, but what truly blew me away is how ridiculously quiet it is. I have the switch set to Gaming mode for maximum boost and sustained clocks (running at the full 2482 MHz boost, sometimes pushing higher with MSI Center), and it's still ultra-silent during heavy 4K gaming sessions with ray tracing maxed out.

The cooler on this is solid, massive and not terribly complicated. Personally I went direct to a waterblock but I have to say the cooler was pretty nice, easy to remove, no silly hidden magnet screws etc. Performance wise temps are obv great due to water, but take the typical undervolt and overclock without issue. I think the silicon is pretty good all around. Anyways, this is a solid card imo especially as pricing is nearing msrp.

Arrived quickly and in perfect condition (sealed box).

I had a 4090 FE before, and even tho that card was already very good, I appreciate the performance upgrade.

- Awesome performance, 23-37% FPS gains at 4K in the 6 games I benchmarked before swapping.

- Very good temps even under heavy load.

- Less coil wine than my 4090 FE. In the 5090 I can't hear it 99% the time, while the 4090 was a bit more noticeable.

Works well / as expected. Surprisingly quiet-ish, even under stress loading; really does get near 600W. Color LEDs are 'nice' but not important to me. Prices for these things are getting ridiculous; make sure your expected usage really requires this. Somewhat complicated to get working with Linux Mint & difficult (but eventually successful) to enable in Wibe. Windows 11 is easy. It is 'chonkey' – covers up multiple PCIe slots.

Best GPU I've ever used to the point it bottlenecks my not so old other components. I mean it was pricey but now its insane. Worth if you don't want to think about replacing for a while.

This is exactly what I hoped for in a high-end 5090 card. You get full flagship-level performance, excellent cooling, and premium build quality without going into ultra-niche halo pricing territory.

Performance is ridiculous (as expected). 4K max settings, heavy ray tracing, high refresh gaming, and creator workloads all run effortlessly. Paired with a strong CPU, this card just chews through anything you throw at it.

The Gaming Trio cooler is excellent. The triple-fan setup keeps temps very controlled even during long gaming sessions or heavy compute loads. Noise levels are surprisingly low for a GPU this powerful — very smooth fan curve with no annoying pitch or rattling.

Build quality feels premium. The shroud is solid, backplate is sturdy, and overall it feels like a flagship product in hand. The design is clean and aggressive without being overly flashy, which is nice if you want a high-end look without extreme RGB overload.

It’s still a large card (like all 5090s), so make sure your case has clearance and consider using a support bracket. Also plan for a high-quality PSU — this is still top-tier GPU power draw territory.

If you want true next-gen flagship performance with proven cooling and strong build quality, this is an easy recommendation. Would absolutely buy again.

This car is a beast. Temperatures are great as well.
