I've had this for almost a year now and it still works great! I mainly use it for gaming and its just incredible on what it can do. Doesn't matter what you set the settings at in any game or even if you use it for vr, you'll get a nice smooth high framerate experience. I chose this Zotac model because it was pretty much the only 4090 that wasn't box shaped making it the best one to fit the aesthetics of my build. I have had no issues with this card. It's temperatures have always been great, in the mid 70 F even after long gaming sessions. And my particular card has been extremely quiet, even when its running at full speed. There is no whinning from the fans or anything like that.

Fast - a monster - needs every bit space you can offer

This monster did not fit into my full tower case until I removed its drive bays, and I have a huge case. I ended up getting a different 4090 and put this into another machine, because I was just swapping things around for the best experience and I had to remove my nvme adapter from the next x16 slot to fit this. The new 4090 gave me enough room to put my nvme adapter back in.

There's nothing wrong with this card, it's a beast, it's fast, it can over clock but what's the purpose when you gain a few percent, if that. It'll SD at 30 it/s at least.

If it were not for the pretty decorating plastics I would be 100 percent ok with this, but I'm not a hard core gamer and I don't have a window on my computer for a light show. It works and works great and that's all that's needed.

It does come with the adapter, in case you were wondering, I was. So you can plug 4 pcie cables into it, make sure you DO have 4... seriously, don't skimp on this and do a search on these things melting of you don't cable it properly or you don't have the newest ATX standard PSU. Be careful of the new ATX PSU you buy if you need to fortify this GPU, because some come with a dual, or quad, modular out setup into the 16 pin connector, which seems kind of skimpy to me so I got one that made sense, 16pin to 16pin on both ends.

This is a 1700 dollar piece of garbage. It plays games really well. It does everything else REALLY bad.

It has a frequent red flashing of the LED lights if you have an MSI motherboard. You can change the bios to quiet and it will just randomly flash blue instead of red. I figured that I would just use this card with my Asus motherboard PC and it stopped doing this, but see several people online that have only 1 computer and are stuck with this issue.

I tried their software for changing the LED lights and it was a completely buggy mess. It took awhile to just turn off all the LEDs because the software is so buggy it will set it to something else instead of off.

The worst part? My motherboard bios will not show up on a clean boot. It also will not always show on system restart from Windows. I can get to the bios on Windows restart, but never on cold boot after shutting down the system.

I paid about 1700 dollars for this mess. It really upsets me that Zotac sells this piece of garbage for 1700 dollars.

This big boy is a productivity monster! I use it mainly for machine learning training, video rendering, stable diffusion, and playing highly demanding games.

Performance in all those categories are top notch. Maintains max frame rates in games. Renders videos in davinci resolve super quickly. Can run stable diffusion server, and even run ChatGPT locally (inferencing)!

Only downside is huge upfront cost. But ada lovelace is energy efficient compared to ampere architecture so you save money long term also. Coil whine is minimal. Temperature maintains below 70C at high workload. GPU is heavy so I recommend vertical mount to distribute weight.

Highly recommend if you have a big budget and want the best consumer GPU today. Oh did I mention that Zotac 4090 looks like a spaceship?

I upgraded to this 4090 from my EVGA 2070 super. This is my first Zotac product, so I initially had some anxieties. Those fears were unfounded, though. The Zotac Amp Extreme Airo has almost no coil whine, and the fans only make any noise under very heavy load. Even then, they are not particularly loud. Thanks to the large cooler, and this is a very big card, the GPU stays very cool at all times. It plays any game I throw at it without breaking a sweat. It also looks very cool in my case. I highly recommend the Amp Extreme Airo :)

      Great Performance - Occasional Hiccups

99% of the time, this thing runs like a beast and delivers tremendous performance by way of quality and extremely high FPS.

I have noticed occasional frame rate stutters, where it will drop FPS to about 5-10 FPS for about 1 second. This happens once or twice an hour, so isn’t a major issue but it is frustrating, especially considering the price. From research, this is likely due to a Driver issue and not a hardware issue - so it is possible it will be resolved in a later update.

Aside from this one criticism, this card is undoubtedly the best in the world at this time.

Update: Now I've been using it for over a year and I have never had an issue with it and the performance has always been great. All my settings in any game VR or non-VR has always been at maximum details and at 4K resolution and this card took care of it all. I'm very pleased and I can honestly say this brand is just underestimated.

      ==========

I've been using it for couple of weeks with heavy rendering as well as gaming. The look is fabulous, leds look terrific, it's almost noiseless and performs just like a 4090 would perform.

So far I would definitely vouch for this brand. In future I don't know but so far so darn good.

This Zotac amp xtreme version of RTX 4090 is one of the premium RTX 4090 you can buy in the market, runs very cool, temperature barely exceeds 64-65c under heavy RT enabled games, never heard any fan noise, I specially undervolted this card to keep it cooler and gain more performance than stock with less power. The design of this card is nice with lots of curve than box type design on the other cards. My only concern was the big cooler might interfere with the M2 SSD heatsink but it didn't since I used a low profile M2 heatsink that solved the problem. Overall you cant go wrong with the zotac amp 4090 and highly recommended.

Affordable. GPU is cool, in Cyberpunk 2077 with ultra settings and RTX on temp is 60-70 degrees. Comes with an additional stand. RGB can be controlled using software of Zotac, it works well. I thought that RGB will not match my overall requirements and will be like a rainbow, but in fact you can set any color and even animation if you want.

I have now owned and used both Flag ship GPUs from this generation. I can say hands down, the 4090 absolutely obliterates the competition. I had a merc 310 7900xtx before this card and was quite happy with it, Definitely no slouch and also much cheaper.

But asking it to do any ray tracing was killer in performance, Being a massive fan of cyberpunk I thought I could look past the poor RTX performance due to the in baked lighting already looking stellar but after trying a friends 4090 with path tracing and every setting ticked to ultra on a 4k ultra wide. I just simply could not unsee it.

Paired with a 5900x 32gb of ddr4 @3600mhz and this absolute unit of a card, I have genuinely thrown everything I can think of at this card and it just begs for more. VR sim racing rendered at 8k is pinned at 90 fps (Reverb G2 limit) with a full grid on AMS2 and max graphics.

Cyberpunk is the new crisis and my god does this game look beautiful, Horizon 5 is absolute eye candy for the car enthusiast and the last of us is just as beautiful.

That being said, the cost of this card is absurd. 2485$ is what I paid taxes inc. That’s just nuts. For reference I bought a 94 Mazda Miata for 1500$ this card is worth almost 1000$ more than a car lol. That being said I truly think this card is the next 1080/1080ti. A card that long exceeds its expected life and continues to flourish in graphically heavy games for years to come. Especially if like me you only game at 1440p (Alienware 32” ultra wide 21:9 aspect) but even having experienced its 4k performance you will still get proper high end performance as the years go by.

Its a luxury item at the moment, 100% but if this current trend of GPU pricing is to be continued this card will certainly end up a rival to the 1080ti in terms of its price to performance over many many years.

It’s worth it if you can afford it. But it’s still absurd that it’s half a month’s pay.

Big chungus card, Big chungus FPS and graphical fidelity, Lastly Big Chungus cost

Such a amazing gaming card, getting over 300 fps in both Bf2042 and New world at 1440p, I have them capped in NVIDIA control panel to 240 fps, so reduce fan and power usage. Gonna test Cyberpunk 2077 more but it at it up also even without using DLSS or anything.

Fan noise over 35% is kinda annoying, cheap zotac fans. But no coil while is such a plus tho, more annoying sound. Have not done much overclocking yet. So far 186mhz Core and 1400mhz ram increase and no issues.

Have no touched voltage or anything yet..

Make sure you have enough room for the card its huge and also make sure you have enough side panel room for 12v connector... I'm using a corsair cable I got on corsair.ca for my power supple. Also make sure you have a decent high end power supply. If not you will have issues.

Now is it worth it, yes and no. If you need and want the best and can afford a 4090, get one, you will love it. It was cheapest 4090 out there and one of the best designs, I love non box shape all others go by.. RTX 4080 is great and so is 7900XTX if you cant or just dont wants to spend funds on 4090..

      Amazing gaming card.

Cheap fan motor make rattling noise.

Sure the GPU doesn't make coil noise on high load but the fans are unbearable because of the bearing or whatever make them rattle nonstop even when low speed. At higher speed, it becomes even more unbearable.

You cannot make a decent curve via Firestorm that would say, prevent the fan from running unless above 60celcius, the program doesn't let you.

The fan will start running, AMP or QUIET mode, at 46 celcius so on idle in a 21 celcius room, the card fans will just start and stop and start and stop.
