The Global Sourcing Reboot
Finding Opportunity in a New Trade Era

Global sourcing is being reshaped by shifting trade policies, geopolitical instability, evolving sustainability requirements and rapid technological advancement. The strategies that once defined supply chain success are being challenged, forcing brands, retailers and manufacturers to rethink how—and where—they operate. The 2026 Sourcing Journal Fall Summit will bring together the industry's leading executives, policymakers, manufacturers and innovators to examine the forces transforming global sourcing and identify the opportunities emerging from this period of disruption. Throughout the day, attendees will gain practical insights into building resilience, managing risk and creating competitive advantage in an increasingly complex global marketplace.

The time has come again for the industry to convene for Sourcing Journal’s annual Sourcing Summit.

In preparing for this year’s event, we knew we had to offer attendees more than another opportunity to commiserate about the uncertainty the sector continues to face.

The theme of our 2025 Sourcing Summit, which took place during a year marked by tariff-driven trade turmoil, was “Countering Chaos.” In 2026, similar uncertainties continue to plague the industry, but it has acclimated and evolved to meet the new normal in ways both unexpected and inspiring.

Even against a backdrop of geopolitical stressors, logistics challenges, economic headwinds and, yes, more tariffs, the supply chain has persevered. Rather than simply reacting to rapid shifts in the market, organizations have taken the future into their own hands, proactively laying the groundwork for adaptability in the face of disruption. A more durable path forward.

Sourcing Journal’s 2026 summit, entitled “The Global Sourcing Reboot,” will focus on the tactics and strategies the industry is employing as it enters a new era marked by constant change.

New applications for artificial intelligence are emerging. Innovations surrounding the circular economy are maturing. Suppliers in a multitude of global markets are making a play for business traditionally concentrated within a select few. And rather than driving a wedge between brands and their suppliers, trade policy challenges are forcing a deeper degree of collaboration.

As we always strive to do, SJ will bring together the brightest minds in the industry to explore the impact of these shifts.

We hope to see you there.
