The Perfect Stranger was something different than I usually go for, but it definitely kept me engaged throughout, so much so I finished it in one sitting! The storyline kept me hooked and I'm really interested to see where it goes in the following books.

One of the best things about this book was the multiple pov's we got throughout which I think was an important feature in this story. I enjoyed the parts of the romance between the two main characters, although I did think it kind of went from all to nothing really fast and unnecessarily, considering there's so many books. Also, I found it hard to connect to the characters for some reason. Hopefully this will change as I progress through.

Overall, I did enjoy this read and I will complete the series.

This is the first book I've read in years after being challenged by my cousin to read 20 this year.

I read this in just over a day, i am not disappointed. The trilogy seems amazing and the storyline captivating, can't wait to read the second one!

Tyler found guilty of murder and sentenced to life for a crime he did not commit, he gets shot while escaping with two other prisoners and seeks refuge for a few nights until his wounds are looked at. The story has potential but finishes on a cliff hanger to be continued in the next book

This was a very readable book. Can’t wait for the next one.

Quite an enjoyable read to start with, though it is in that style of swapping the narrator which I find a bit annoying. The story builds nicely and then it stops at a critical point because the book has finished and you need to buy the next one to find out what happens. It was a very short book and I read it in no time. Once bitten..... Disappointing.

Me ha encantado. La verdad me sorprendió el principio, cómo se va desarrollando la historia, de alguna manteniéndote un poco en vilo. No sabía que hacer de Tyler, no sabía si era del todo sincero. Y la verdad es que eso me encanta, que haya mantenido la tensión de alguna manera a través de todo el libro.

I started reading this book 📖📚 because I am a Charlotte Byrd fan. This is the story of an unexpected person who use to be her classmate in Middle School in this town in Pennsylvania. Tyler came from a family where there was an abusive father in the household. Everyone thought he was such a put together young man but every two weeks out of the month when their father was at home, the whole family lived in fear of his mental and physical abuse. While Tyler lived in this mansion with abuse going on, Isabelle lived on the outskirts of town in the not so great section of town. She was picked on in school because of being poor and Tyler stood up for her. They were best friends back in Middle School and then she moved away. He remembers that Isabelle had moved back to where they use to live and so when he broke out of prison for a crime he said he did not commit he ends up on her doorstep. If you don't like cliffhangers you might not like reading this 📚📖 book, but I am here to tell you that Charlotte Byrd is an excellent writer and you would enjoy reading her books. Good read.

Story was slow and I really was never reeled in. It took forever to move forward but even then it was slow going. Decent story but not enough actin to keep me fully engaged.

I loved the storyline , in fact I read the book twice . Well written . A convict escapes from jail and breaks into an old girlfriend' house and she ends up falling in love with him and helping him escape . Some good romantic interludes also. The only regret I have is I have to buy the next book in the series .it's a trilogy.
