Last update of DEB third-party packages is 1 month ago

[NexusSfan]

This is weird because the last release to XLibre was 2 days ago.

I've contacted @apebl via email and am waiting for his reply.

I would like to wait until the end of next week (Nov 28, 2025), and if there is no response by then, we at XLibre will have to come up with something reasonable. The Debian/Ubuntu packages are likely to have found somewhat wider distribution, and the URLs are also communicated everywhere.

I think if we have to “pull the plug,” then we'll bring all XLibre DEB packages closer to XLibre.

Thank you so much! Is the Are we Xlibre page updated?

I'll update it soon.

Thanks. Are you having luck with the version for Ubuntu 24.04 and it's derivatives? I think you have to compile and include presentproto 1.4 for it to work tho.

I haven't tried it on Ubuntu.

[pugly-tech]

Fair. It would be nice to get it on Linux Mint but getting Debian support is the priority as they're the repository we need to convince, as Ubuntu will pick it up later anyways.

This is probably ready.

The repositories xlibre-debian/debian: Debian APT repository, xlibre-debian/devuan: Devuan APT repository and xlibre-debian/ubuntu: Ubuntu APT repository now all contain recent versions of the XLibre Xserver and its drivers.
