A life still in motion

I’m Marta Pen Freitas, a two-time Olympian. I was training for my third Games when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 30.

In Motion is a mini-documentary series I’ve spent the last year making. It’s my love letter to running, to the people who carried me, and to everyone facing a race they never signed up for. You can go through something incredibly hard and still keep your heart open for something good.
