These are all the films/docs/interviews that I had a hand in editing at GMU. They show my skill for creative storytelling. My thesis film was a very small crew so I did most of the editing. As my editor actually did more DIT work on set and editing assisting in post. Just requires an editor to be submitted to the GMU Film Festival as a school requirement.

This section has selected news blocks in which I edited content for WHSV's Daybreak Show at 5am. I am responsible for all edits in these clips; reviewing WHSV Reporter content/National content to re-edit from scratch, make adjustments to sound, and edit any motion graphics. I would follow a script set out by producers pre-show to build an effective visual accompaniment. Also, created and built the opening graphics for the show with After Effects. In addition to the Daybreak show, I will also edit the Now on 3 Interviews for the Noon show. This is a basic interview set-up. With a table and two chairs. I often will live edit the interview at 10am, two hours before it airs, then I’ll go into Premiere and make tweaks. It’s one of my biggest passions. Requires time management (with editing an hour before or sometimes during show), quick yet effective creative decisions, and translating reporter/producer intent into edits based on their scripts.
