Ronny Makoyepuk

I’m an independent journalist with more than 20 years of experience, a certified civil rights consultant with years of education and training, and photographer in Dayton, Ohio. Since 2023 I've been writing a book examining First Amendment protections of United States citizens, complete with case law and Supreme Court rulings. It has practical, real-world information beneficial to journalists, photographers, protesters, and even law enforcement. I provide no-cost civil rights consultations by appointment in-person or virtually, and I host a free photo club at Dayton Metro Library and Five Rivers Metro Park locations that is open to all members of the community. I have education and certifications in human rights, civil rights, indigenous rights, and human trafficking prevention & intervention through Columbia University, Utrecht University, Udemy, edX, Amnesty International, Justice U, Adams Academy, and UNITAR.
