What is a Relatives membership

A free, event-based membership. Attend once, follow our instagram, and you’re in. Members get access to programming, early information, and preferred pricing where available.

How is Relatives membership different from private clubs (e.g., Soho House, NeueHouse)

We democratize exclusivity by making presence—not appearance—our ethos. Our members are independently accomplished—creative, professional, and stylish. Attend once, follow us on instagram, and you’re a Friend of the House member; consistently show up, provide feedback, support, patron, and engage digitally and IRL, and you’re a Close Kin member. Our format is built for substance over optics—bringing the seen and the unseen to connect—so members meet, talk, and stay. The space belongs to whoever shows up to connect.

Do I need a physical card

No. We don’t issue cards yet (working on this). Membership is tied to your name and POSH / DICE registration at check-in.

How do I become a member

Show up and check in at any Relatives event. First-time attendance + following us on instagram = membership. The space belongs to you.

What are the membership tiers

Friend of the House (base): automatic after first attendance. Close Kin (core): for people who consistently show up, provide feedback, support, patron, and engage digitally and IRL.

What do Friends of the House members receive

Free and discounted access to events, food, drinks, and discounts from Sehla brands (Huemane, Astre, others coming soon) where offered; member pricing on select merch; partner perks when available; access to Relatives’ membership site and monthly internal activities and Substack.

How do I become a Close Kin member

Keep a steady presence: attend regularly, bring friends, interact with our posts/newsletter, pick up supporter tickets at times, share feedback, and contribute to the room running smoothly. We review activity quarterly and upgrade by signal, not status.

What do Close Kin members receive

All member benefits plus: early RSVP windows, occasional comps, access to private/intimate sessions, regular polling, giveaways, bts content, and the addition to our instagram close friends.

Is there a cost to join

No dues. Tickets may be required per event (Friend of the House tickets or supporter tickets as noted).

What’s a Supporter ticket

A paid ticket that helps cover show costs (DJs, sound, comps, operations). We don’t profit from supporter tickets at this time. Buying them counts toward Close Kin member signals.

Do “Friend of the DJ” comps make me a member

Yes. If you attend, follow our instagram, and check in, you’re a Friend of the House member going forward.

Do members still need to RSVP and check in

Yes. RSVP secures a spot until capacity is reached; check-in records your attendance and unlocks member benefits.

Does RSVP guarantee entry

No. Entry is subject to venue capacity and door times. Arrive early.

Yes. Each person needs their own RSVP / ticket. A guest who checks in and follows our instagram becomes a Friend of the House member.

Is membership city-specific

No. Your status follows you outside of our Dallas hub to markets we intend to have events in (Dallas / Houston / Atlanta / New York City / Los Angeles), and others as announced.

How will I get updates and early access

Email / SMS (if opted in for all members), instagram close friends (for Close Kin members), and Substack. Keep your contact info current.

How do member discounts work at the bar/food/merch

We list pricing on menus and product pages. At point of sale, discounts are automatically applied.

What’s expected of members

Follow house rules, respect consent and space, and help keep the space honest. Repeated violations can pause or remove benefits.

How long does membership last

Friend of the House memberships are ongoing, as long as we have active contact info and you maintain good standing. Close Kin memberships are reviewed and renewed based on recent activity. How long does membership last

How do I update my info or ask about status

Email membership@relatives.is with your full name and phone number used at check-in. A member management platform is coming soon.

Are there partner/brand perks

Sometimes. We publish perks per event or drop. Perks are limited and may be tier-gated. We’re always working on more partner and brand perks for our members.
