江古田の森公園 Egota-no-Mori Park

江古田の森公園は、厳密には中野区にある公園ですが、練馬区との境界に位置しているため、練馬区民にとっても憩いの場です。縄文時代の遺跡、結核療養所の跡地という歴史的背景や、現在では災害時の避難場所にもなる防災公園としての機能も備えている自然豊かな公園です。

Although Egota-no-Mori Park is, strictly speaking, located in Nakano ward, it sits right on the border with Nerima ward, making it a popular spot for relaxation among Nerima residents as well.  Rich in nature, the park boasts a historical background that includes Jomon-period ruins and the former site of a tuberculosis sanatorium, while also serving as a disaster-prevention park equipped to act as an evacuation site during emergencies.
