About

Lemmy is a new type of social media which is focused on human connections instead of increasing shareholder value. It has no tracking or advertising and is billionaire proof. Yet it requires constant full-time work to manage the project, implement new features and fix bugs. Unlike Reddit there is no venture capital available. Instead we rely on your generous donations to make a living. Please donate and help Lemmy grow!

Project Website

Donations via OpenCollective also finance the hosting of lemmy.ml, which is used to test new versions before release, take performance measurements and have first-hand experience with the mod tools.
