Mosaic On A Stick

Welcome! Mosaic on a Stick is a place for community, a place for love, and a place for art. As a Black and Native-Owned art studio, my mission is deeply intertwined in celebrating the diversity and cultures in the Twin Cities, and to provide access and opportunities for anyone to practice creativity. Mosaic on a Stick celebrates, honors, and engages with voices of marginalized people and maintains its values as an art studio that aims to be socially responsible while providing art for everyone to appreciate. A mosaic is created from broken pieces to create something new and beautiful. Like mosaic, our communities are made of many different and individual pieces that when built with intentionality and care, we unify to create a larger whole. My team of mosaic artists values diversity, interconnectedness, and creativity by creating spaces for art rooted in community, social justice, and healing. Many times, the money to buy the materials for our collaborative projects comes out of our own pockets, the time and labor it takes to work on these projects is unpaid, and many of the people who help us are volunteers. With the pandemic and closed storefronts, we faced many challenges to meet financial obligations. We need your help to remain at our location, keep our staff by compensating them for their projects, and to sustain the work we do to support local artists, families, and other organizations with our mosaic art, projects, supplies, and classes. As always, thank you for creating with us. We greatly appreciate all your love and continued support. With immense gratitude,Lori and Mosaic On A Stick teamWebsite: https://www.mosaiconastick.com/
