Great set of tools for the weekend warrior. I gave this 5 stars because, for under $50, you're getting a decent set of tools that will help you tackle almost any basic repair or upgrade on your bike. These are NOT bikeshop mechanic grade tools. With proper use and care, this set should last you for a while. If you want a better tool set, you'll have to pony up more than $50. I've used almost every tool in this kit for the past few months and they worked just fine. I have some Park Tool brand stuff as well, which I absolutely love, but these worked just fine for what I need them for. If you need a decent kit that wont break the bank, just buy it now.

Just built my first road bike from the frame up and this kit had just about everything I needed to do a complete build. I still needed a wire cutter for the shift cable housing, used a dremel cutting disk instead, and a reliable torque wrench. This kit included one, but I prefer having a real torque wrench. I got this kit at a very discounted price and I couldn't be happier with it if I need to do some repairs. If I were a bike builder or a repair shop, I'd go with better tools, but as a weekend warrior, this kit is enough for me.

Let me preface this review by stating that I do not work on my bike very often, mostly I take it in to a shop to get repairs done. I purchased this set with the hopes of learning to work on my bike. With that said I purchased the kit for the tools I needed to swap my drivetrain out and it worked flawlessly. Of course if you are repairing bikes for a living or for cash you probably already have forked out the money for the Park Tool tools you need. This kit is perfect for me because it makes included every tool I needed to do the job I needed and even some tools which I will no longer have to buy down the road as I learn more, and at a fraction of the cost! When I first set out to buy tools I was going to buy them separately, but somehow saw this kit had everything I wanted and then some for only $10 more so I pulled the trigger and I couldn't be happier.

The tools feel like good sturdy quality tools and most have a nice rubber coating which makes them extremely comfortable. Included on the back of the packaging is a guide for what every tool included is (something that for someone relatively new to bike repair is priceless) Now lets talk about the case, it is extremely well made out of a durable plastic and the metal latches are very sturdy and give good user feedback when you latch them. There is a little extra room in the case, but not much, which you can use to fill with some extra tools or extra Allen wrenches if you feel the need to add some extras. I would not advise that though.

Again if you are a "professional" at bike repair you probably already own all these tools and then some in their Park Tool counterpart, but for someone who maybe works on their bike every other weekend this kit will give you a good foundation of tools to get wrenching and help build a solid foundation to expand from. I honestly am beyond pleased with this purchase and if you were to buy all these tools separately you would probably spend almost twice as much, so if you are on the fence I say pull the trigger! You will not be disappointed.

With this outstanding experience you probably are wondering why not 5 stars, right? It is honestly because some of the tools shifted out of their locations in shipping causing them to fall out upon opening and the chainbreakers handle came slightly loose so I had to tighten it, but neither of those things damaged or compromised the tools in any way. I would definitely say the quality control of this company is top tier.

All in all one of my favorite purchases for my bike!

I can build a high end mountain bike in my living room, and have done so. These tools are very good and I would buy them again without hesitation. If you are getting into the sport of mountain biking and realize that fixing/upgrading is much cheaper when you do it yourself - you have the solution right in front of you. Buy these and have a blast ripping into your cassettes, hubs, cranks and anything else on your bike.

You will want to add a small torque wrench, especially if you use carbon parts. A cable stretcher will be nice to have, but not required. The torque wrench is required. Torque your screws to spec. Best practice.

Everything about this bike tool kit is perfect. Doesn’t take up much space, every tool fits into its own space and it’s everything you’ll need.

Purchased this for my hubby’s birthday. It was absolutely perfect and he loved it! Great price and excellent value of product for your money! Hubby’s been cycling for over 25 years and now he has just the right tools and right sizes!

Family received new bikes this year so this seems like a no brainer. Did not expect my DH to get as excited as he did about this tool box. It came in handy the first day when we made our adjustments to fit each rider. The tools are durable and the box contained the right tools needed for moderate level adjustments & repairs.

The seller was awesome (super fast shipping!). Now to the tool kit... It's your basic "Harbor Freight" type tool kit (crude, lots of stamped steel parts, unrefined, etc) but does the job (especially if you won't be using it that often).

However... the case set up is horrendous. It's obviously meant for an even more basic kit that they just tossed some extra tools into. The "extra" tools have no place in the case and just rattle about (while the basic tools each have their own snap in place in the case). That may have saved them money... but that makes a person who is very organized, and takes care of their tools (like me) go nuts.

So... Seller: awesome. Tools: crude (but usable). Case: an absolute mess.

I purchased this and other bike tools for my nephew he loves it. I drove to his house the other day and seen him using the tool Set, some of these tools I have no idea what they are used for. But he seems to know. Makes a great gift for bike people. A bit on the expensive side is my only complaint. It could be slightly cheaper but the quality is good. I usually buy quality over quantity.

Arrived well before the date asvertised and i was shocked to see it waiting for me when i arrived home. To be honest the tools look sturdy and decent quality for the price! Pretty much has everything i need to dismantle my bike and then put it back together again. The hard plastic case locks nice and only a couple of tools fall out when i open the case. No big deal really.

Everyrhing is laid out really good and if you cannot remember what any of the tools are for? There is an awesome tutorial video to bring you up to speed.. all in all its a very nice set of tools and well thought up by the company.. thankyou highly reccomend this tool kit to anyone who wants to repair their own bike..

Cannot recommend this set enough! It has so many different tools that I keep taking this out whenever need anything done on the bicycle. Only tool from this whole set that didn't fit was the crank removal. There are normally 2 types for square tapered cranks, mine is the smaller one and this comes with the larger one. But now I own both as I bought the smaller one separately.

quality is decent, have seen videos on youtube of people using these and that made me buy it, it's not great but does the job, you will need some other tools anyway but it's very complete
