I am guilty of finding books throughout my home to stack on my kitchen island in order to save my back from the pain of hunching over my laptop as I edit photos or work on assignments/lesson plans. I recently had to purchase a new laptop, so why not upgrade my laptop accessories, too?

• If you're wondering (like I was), yes, you can type on your laptop when it is on this stand. I am writing this whole review this way just to see how it goes. It IS sturdy enough for you to rest your hands on the laptop and type, but I have found out through using it that my kitchen island surface is not level (it bobbles around a bit as I type). If you're surface is level, this would be a much better experience (I did test out the stand on my countertop just to be sure, and the stand works perfectly on a level surface).

• The stand is VERY sturdy and looks really nice. It's not a perfect match with the color of my laptop, but it's really close (I have the space grey color). It looks pretty seamless overall. The silicon pads appear to be placed very well, unlike other reviews I read before purchasing. Maybe they've fixed that issue.

• For the price, I'd say that this stand is well worth it! It looks great and I can tell that it is going to save me from a lot of back strain. Since my island surface is not level, I may look into purchasing an external keyboard to go along with my external mouse. I think that would make the experience much more seamless, and more practical for when I need to type lesson plans or write papers for college classes.

• For photo editing, when I rarely need to type, I wouldn't need to invest in a keyboard. For typing-intensive activities, I would recommend a keyboard to go along with it.

Overall, I highly recommend!

Really great for the office! My ugly laptop is up at a level that minimizes or eliminates any pain in my neck as I type away and adding a wireless keyboard mouse combo results in such ease. Awesome!

Also, the metal is quality and will last for years:-)

After much research I decided to go with this laptop stand. It works perfectly to elevate the laptop and store the hub underneath. All metal and sturdy build.

I didn’t expect much from a laptop stand, but this made a noticeable difference right away. It lifts the laptop to a much better eye level, which helps a lot with posture—especially if you’re working for a few hours at a time.

The build quality is solid. It’s aluminum, has a bit of weight to it, and doesn’t feel cheap. Once it’s on the desk, it stays in place. The rubber grips hold the laptop securely, and I haven’t had any slipping issues.

I’m using it with a MacBook Pro and it fits perfectly. There’s enough space underneath for airflow, and I’ve actually noticed the laptop runs a bit cooler compared to sitting flat on the desk.

Overall, it’s a simple product but very effective. One of those small upgrades that you end up appreciating every day.

I bought three laptop stands, this solid design and then two others that flip up and have variable heights. I like this one by far the best. It’s very sturdy, it’s the right height for me, with the bumper in the middle it doesn’t affect your wrists for typing, and with it being raised up it provides a better ergonomic position than the ones that sit on a table. The other two I got sit on the table and lift the laptop up from there, then your wrist bends at a sharp angle. This one is raised a couple of inches so your rest can be straight, tho you do need some thing to pad your elbows if you’re resting them on the table. So, this was the best overall for ergonomics, stability, and nice looks. The only downside is it’s a solid piece, does not collapse, so you need somewhere that you can tuck it away in a closet we’re not using and of course it’s not portable. I will keep the other foldable one that I got as a portable back up to carry in my laptop case.

This monitor stand is perfect for what I was looking for. I wanted to use this stand on a small Desk. This stand holds a 2018 15" MacBook Pro with zero sagging or shaking. The cable management cut out is smooth with a plastic grommet so your cables don't fray. There are rubber standoffs to hold your notebook sturdily in place, there is no chance that your notebook will slip off. Having it lifted off the surface allows for ample airflow from the included cutouts. This stand allows my MacBook Pro to operate cooler, without having to use an additional fan as it's not sitting directly on a desk close to a wall. The stand allows air to escape as it's held higher and at an angle.

I give this stand 5 stars as the color of the stand matches my notebook perfectly and I got exactly what I expected. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone!

The Bestand Laptop Stand is a testament to quality and thoughtful design.

From an ergonomic perspective, this stand truly shines. It elevates my laptop screen to eye level, promoting better typing and viewing to reduce strain on my back and neck.

Another standout feature is the weighty and solid construction of this stand. It's crafted from a single piece of aluminum, which not only adds to the stand sturdiness but also gives it a sleek, modern look. The surface is spacious and accommodates laptops from 11 to 16 inches.

Both the weight of the stand and the silicone treads below and underneath the laptop, and on a metal lip in front, ensure that neither the stand nor the computer move around. The manufacturer claims a 66-pound load-bearing capacity for the stand, and I believe it. This thing is rugged.

The inclusion of a slot at the rear for cables to pass through is a small yet incredibly practical detail. It helps keep my workspace organized and tidy.

Three slots in the stand aid with heat dissipation and are yet another thoughtful design feature that cools my laptop during extended usage.

While the stand excels in many respect, one limitation is its lack of height adjustability. However, if height adjustability is important to you, you’ll find lots of other options for stands here on Amazon.

Bottom line: I like it. Chances are, you will too. The Bestand Laptop Stand is a nice blend of durability, functionality, ergonomic comfort, and attractiveness—all at a reasonable price.

Made with good materials.

Solid aluminium base and great to look at. Not height or angle adjustable . Meant for single position and posture usage

Love this purchase. The quality of the product is very good and fits my Laptop perfectly. I love the height.
