OddsTrader helps you compare live sports betting odds from multiple books in one place. Check spreads, moneylines, totals, props, futures and live betting lines for today's games, then use our computer picks, bet ratings and market tools to decide where the number is strongest.

NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football, college basketball, soccer, tennis and more are available from the same odds dashboard. Before you bet, compare the opener, current price and pick a site.

Looking for Picks to Go With Today's Odds?

The OddsTrader odds board shows where the market is right now. The picks page shows where OddsTrader's model sees potential value before the games begin. Compare the live number above, then review the computer pick, expected value, cover probability, bet rating and best available line before placing a wager.

Use the odds board first to shop the price. Use the picks page next to understand whether the current line still fits the projection.

Looking for Props Instead of Sides and Totals?

Not every betting opportunity is tied to the final score. OddsTrader's props section helps you compare game props and player props across available markets so you can spot differences in price, line and market availability.

Use props when you want to focus on player performance, team-specific outcomes or market angles that go beyond the spread, moneyline and total.

How to Use the OddsTrader Odds Board

The OddsTrader odds board helps you compare live sports betting odds across multiple books from one screen. Instead of checking every book separately, you can view today's matchups, opening numbers, current prices, best available lines and options together.

Use the tabs above the board to switch between:

  • Odds
  • Picks
  • Props
  • World Cup and other featured event pages when available

Use the sport navigation to move between major betting pages:

Use the filters inside the board to compare the market you actually want to bet. Depending on the sport, you can switch between spread, moneyline, total, run line, puck line, merged view, full game, halves, quarters, periods or first-five-inning markets.

When comparing lines, look at more than the team or player you want to bet. Check the price, the opener, the current number, the book offering the best line and whether the market has already moved.

OddsTrader tip: the best number matters, but it is not the only decision. A better price should still be weighed against availability, market limits, bonus rules, payout policies and your own betting plan.

Choosing a Site After Comparing the Odds

The OddsTrader homepage is built for comparing live betting lines and finding the strongest available price. Choosing an operator involves a different set of factors, including payout reliability, betting limits, banking, bonus terms, account rules and overall bettor fit.

For operator testing, rankings and comparisons, see OddsTrader's best offshore sportsbooks.

Why Line Shopping Matters

Line shopping means comparing the same wager across multiple operators before placing your bet. It is one of the simplest ways to improve the price you receive over time.

A baseball underdog might be +120 at one book and +132 at another. An NFL spread might be -3.5 at one site and -3 at another. A basketball total might be 221.5 at one book and 222.5 somewhere else. Same opinion, different price.

Those differences matter. If you bet a $100 underdog at +120, a winning bet returns $120 in profit. If another book is offering +132 on the same team, that same $100 winner returns $132 in profit. You did not need to pick a different side. You just needed the better number.

A half-point can also turn a loss into a push or a push into a win. That is why the OddsTrader board is most useful before the bet is placed, while you still have time to compare the market.

Odds Formats and Bet Types

American Odds

American odds are the most common format for U.S. bettors. Negative odds show how much you need to risk to win $100. Positive odds show how much you profit on a $100 bet.

Example: -110 means you risk $110 to win $100. +150 means you risk $100 to win $150.

Decimal Odds

Decimal odds show the total return, including your stake. Example: 2.50 means a $100 bet returns $250 total: $100 stake plus $150 profit.

Fractional Odds

Fractional odds show profit compared to stake. Example: 9/2 means you win $9 for every $2 risked.

Implied Probability

Odds also imply probability. That helps you compare the site's price to your own view or to OddsTrader's projection. Example: +150 implies roughly 40%. -150 implies roughly 60%.

Common Betting Markets on OddsTrader

Moneyline

A moneyline bet is a wager on which team or player wins the game or event. Favorites usually carry negative odds. Underdogs usually carry positive odds.

Point Spread, Run Line and Puck Line

A spread gives one side a handicap. In football and basketball, this is commonly called the point spread. In baseball, the spread is usually called the run line. In hockey, it is usually called the puck line.

Totals

A total is a bet on the combined score. If the posted total is 44.5, over bettors need 45 or more combined points, while under bettors need 44 or fewer.

Props

Props focus on specific outcomes inside a game or individual player performance. Examples include passing yards, strikeouts, rebounds, first touchdown scorer, team totals, shots on goal and home runs. Props can offer value, but prices and limits often vary widely across sites.

Futures

Futures are long-term markets such as Super Bowl winner, World Series winner, NBA champion, division winner, season win totals or player awards. Futures prices can move quickly after injuries, trades, schedule changes and major results.

Live Betting

Live betting lets users place wagers after a game has started. Odds can move after every pitch, possession, shot, injury update or scoring play. Always confirm the final price before submitting a live wager.

What Makes Odds Move?

Sports betting odds move when bookmakers react to new information, market pressure or changes in risk.

  • Injuries and lineup changes
  • Pitcher, goalie or quarterback news
  • Weather
  • Sharp betting action
  • Public betting pressure
  • Limit increases
  • Rest, travel and schedule spots
  • Suspensions or roster changes
  • Major news close to game time
  • Live-game momentum and scoring changes

The opener shows where the market started. The current line shows where it is now. Comparing the two can help users understand whether they are betting before or after a major move.

Using Picks, EV, Cover Probability and Bet Ratings

OddsTrader's picks data is built to help users evaluate whether the current line is still playable. Use it as decision support alongside the live board — not as a guaranteed outcome.

Picks SignalWhat It Means
AI predictionProjected score or outcome generated from OddsTrader's data model.
Expected valueA signal that compares the market price to the model's view of the outcome.
Cover probabilityThe model's estimated chance that a side, spread or total reaches the required result.
Bet ratingA quick ranking signal that helps users sort stronger model opinions from weaker ones.
Best lineThe most favorable available price attached to the pick at the time the user checks the board.

OddsTrader App

OddsTrader's app gives users a way to follow live scores, play-by-play updates, stats, bankroll tracking and bet tracking from a mobile device. Use the app after reviewing the odds board, picks and props to stay connected to the market on the go.

Legal Access and Responsible Betting

Sports betting should be entertainment, not a financial plan. Betting rules vary by jurisdiction, and users are responsible for understanding the laws where they live before opening an account or placing a wager.

Before placing a wager:

  • Set a budget before you bet.
  • Do not chase losses.
  • Compare the price and the site, not just the team or player.
  • Read bonus terms before claiming a promotion.
  • Track deposits, withdrawals and wagers.
  • Avoid betting while stressed, angry or impaired.
  • Take a break when betting stops feeling fun.

What is line shopping?

caret
Line shopping means comparing the same bet across multiple sites before wagering. It helps users avoid bad prices and find the best available number.

Odds can change throughout the day and may move quickly near game time or during live betting. Injuries, lineup changes, weather, betting action and major news can all move the market.

Should I choose a site only because it has the best line?

caret
No. A better line matters, but users should also consider market availability, payout rules, bonus terms, banking options, limits and responsible betting tools.

Can I use OddsTrader on mobile?
