Xiaomi just showed its AI Cube prototype, and the 1.22 TB/s number caught my attention. The important detail is that this is near-memory bandwidth on the O100, not confirmed system-wide RAM bandwidth. Still a very interesting design for local LLMs.

Just published a new article on the first Apple M5 Max local LLM benchmarks. We compared the MLX results running 120B models on a 128GB MacBook Pro with our RTX Pro 6000 and RTX 5090 tests. Interesting results for anyone running large models locally.
