Absorption features at 3540, 3510, 1665, 1650, 1045, 970, 920, 740, 545, and 495 cm-1. The first four correspond to molecular H2O.
Thermal Behaviour:
One endothermic peak at 140 °C corresponding to the maximum loss of H2O, which is lost completely at 600 °C.
Notes:
Light blue cathodoluminescence.
