About NoriteHide

A gabbro where the main mafic mineral is orthopyroxene.
A coarse-grained plutonic rock containing basic plagioclase (labradorite) as the chief constituent and differing from gabbro by the presence of orthopyroxene (hypersthene) as the dominant mafic mineral.
