Father's Day 2010

We had a really fun Father's Day weekend!

It started Friday night when we took the kids to see Toy Story 3 in 3D. It is such a cute movie! Saturday we spent the day at Raging Waters, and stopped at Olvera Street for some delicious Taquitos! Sunday we went to the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues, and then went bowling where Jason absolute killed us!

It was a great weekend!

Beach Day

The kids and I took a day off at the beach yesterday.

It may be our last chance to get out there before the baby is born, and it was a nice relaxing day. The Ji family came too, and showed us a new beach to try.

The big kids splashed around in the water, while Kiki watched from the shore with her hands on her hips.

Everyone took turns getting buried in the sand.

It's amazing how much Kiana has changed in one year. Last summer we took her to the beach and she hung out on the blanket with me the entire day, and this time she was playing with her sand toys and following her big brother and sister around.

She's much more independent now.

Long Time, No Blog!

It's been a wild and crazy year, and our poor neglected blog has been forgotten! I can't believe my last post was of Kiana when she was 14 months old! She turned two in March, and is now a toddler! She loves her big brother "A-yay" and big sister "A-ya" and is about to become a big sister herself! I'm due with another girl in July!

Kiana loves her MyGym class, singing, and dancing. She's a little actress and drama queen. She poses every time she sees a mirror or camera, and is just an all-around cutie! Maleia just finished her first year at BHS on the honor roll! She enjoyed playing on the basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams at school too! Jalen just finished his 2nd year at BHS, and played soccer on the boy's team.

We moved a couple months ago, and are finally all settled. I think I only have a couple of boxes left to unpack! Jason's been busy working, and traveling, but still manages to have fun with the family when he can!

To celebrate our wedding anniversary he got me a new camera, which I'm still learning how to use! Above are a few test shots I took the first night, but I'll add more pics soon!

Kiana-14 months!

Here's some recent pictures of Kiana! She's now 14 months old, but seems WAY older! She loves to play around, and pretend she's one of the big kids! She likes to lean into you, get right in your face, and whisper like she's saying something really important! She also sticks her cheek out to get kisses, but rarely gives them! She's so funny!

Ye Old Country Fair '09

Yesterday was the BHS Country Fair! It was a fun day! We enjoyed smoothies, pizza, and baked treats from the bakery booth! The kids did the tug-of-war, 3-legged race, and egg race, played at the game booths, and rode all of the rides! I came out of the book tent with two shopping bags full of books, and Kiana enjoyed walking around and checking out the petting zoo! We all had a great day!!!

Variety Show '09

Jalen was in the Dad's Club Variety Show at his school with his friend Ruby! They did a dance as the Penguins from Madagascar 2, to I Like To Move It - by Will.I.Am! They were so cute! Here's a video of the dress rehearsal when they were still learning the routine. Their actual performance was awesome, and so high energy the audience started clapping along, they brought the house down! Here are a few pics of the show too!
