Brigham City Temple

I love new temples.
Some of the pictures are blurry, but it's all I got.
We decided to go to the open house and take some of
my family.  It was fun taking the two little nieces to see inside
the 'princess castle' as Cloie called it.

I remember going through either the Bountiful or Timpanogos
temple open house and wearing boot-covers like these!

This is the tabernacle across the street.
There were a lot of people, so when we got out it was dark.  It's a beautiful temple (they all are).  All the waiting and walking got to the girls a bit and at one point, during the silent tour, Cloie said something like, "This castle is so long!"

A bit ago...

I turned old.
A little old.
Only 25
I haven't been to a college football game in a long time,
and I love BYU football games :) There is usually a home
game around the weekend of my birthday, and Cicily was
awesome and bought tickets for us to go.

Steven was thrilled to be there.  But his self control is
astounding and he held it in well.

Jonafin and Weswee came too.
So pretty

This is them coming out onto the field.
They played Weber State, so it wasn't super exciting, but
at least it was a win.  We pigged out on good food too :)

My birthday was on Sunday.  We were still living in my parent's basement with all of our non-essentials packed up, so we couldn't do our traditional sign and such, but Steven made me a birthday tree and put all my presents under it.
 I loved it :)

Steven also felt I needed a reminder of what day it was.
Cake and Ice cream with the fam.
25 year old face.
I'd never been to a hibachi grill, so for my birthday
dinner we went to Tepanyaki.

Steven's parents, my mom, Cicily, and Jonathan joined us.

Steven got some yummy sushi.
The show is great; the chef is very talented.

I love this picture.
Cicily's face is priceless :)
I actually caught one!
The food was superb. The whole birthday bonanza
was great.  I forget I'm 25 now.  I'm very grateful for my
awesome family and friends who made it a great birthday.

Back-Track

I still haven't posted about our annual Lake Powell trip,
so here it is.
It was a bit different this year.  Due to babies and weddings (ok only one of each) the group was diminished and people were missed, but a few new people also joined.  However, the biggest change was that we didn't have the houseboat.  Some complicated decisions and other things have made it so the houseboat is waiting to be scrapped, or sold.  We missed it.
They have these trailer things at Halls marina that we rented. They had three bedrooms, air conditioning, and working fridge/freezer.  They were nice.  The only draw back is that you have to pull the boat out of the water and drive aways to get to them.  No beach.

 It's a monkey!
 No, it's a Cicily!

Oh the storms... they are beautiful and terrifying.
Robbi's boat handled the waves like a champ, until the waves got
bigger, and higher than the boat.
 Waiting out the storm.

We camped for one of the nights, this was the spot after we
tore it down. There were many bats, much laughter, a Krull quote,
and one Cicily who laughed so hard she fell out of her chair.

"sexy steaks" and shorty shorts. . .
 Ultimate bed!

 tube shenanigans

Although there were mechanical issues, as usual, we still had fun
in the boats and sightseeing, and just hanging around.  Can never get
enough of this place :)
