This year went too fast....

Wow I am way behind.... so sorry. One of my new goals for 2010 will try to be keeping my blog better up to date. Here are just a few pictures of things that have happened these past few months many of them life changing. Chase and I went to the MSL All star game It was so much fun to be there. This year I have also had the chance to go to several RSL games. It was fun this last weekend to watch them win the championship I wish I could have been in Seattle.

Tanecia and I went to Denver for a girls weekend. We went to the temple, went to a Cirque show, and were able to watch the Rookies play. We had alot of fun in a city that I have flown into many time but never got to enjoy the many things outside the airport.

My little brother got married September 18 5 years to the day of their first date. I am so excited for them and excited for their new life together. The day was amazing the weather turned out great. The were sealed in the Salt Lake temple and had a reception at SleepyRidge Golf course. They are both working and going to school full time. Congrats Chasey and Burnty!!!!

My Grandma Steck passed away the day before chase was married. She had been battling cancer for the past couple of years. It was really a bitter sweet week for us. It was so sad to have her pass away but we know she was there for the wedding and we were excited my grandpa could attend. My grandma was a major influence on my life and I miss her everyday. I live each day knowing she is watching over me and I must do what I can to make her proud of me. It was hard to have Thanksgiving at her house this year and not have her running around running the kitchen. I am thankful for the time that I have been able to spend with my grandpa. He is an amazing man who continues to inspire me all the time. I am grateful for my family and the chance I have to be apart of it.

There are some more pictures that I would like to post but I have to go...... I will continue to add pictures as I can. Just another day in the life of Amy.

CANCUN

My family took a trip to Mexico to have sometime to just hang out with Chase when he got home. We had a fantastic time.... We took so many pictures here are just a few of them from our adventures in mexico.

Chase, Steve, Dad and I took the chance to play a round of golf at the course that was at our resort. It was just a short par 3 course and was designed by the Golden Bear himself. We had alot of fun even Chase would thought he would be a little rusty.

Chase, Brittney, and I took a trip down to Tulum. It was really hot so we had to take a dip in the ocean. Chase had so much fun body surfing. It is a blast to hang out with these two. These are really funny together.

Brinley had become the little traveller. She loves for the most part travelling in the car. She will always do roll call to make sure everyone was in the car and ready to go. She loves to play in the ocean but doesn't love the sand. She will tell you that the ocean is "salty." She also had become the little fish. She loves to swim in the pool with her floaties.

We were excited that Brittney got to come to Mexico with us. Chase made it very exciting for us the whole time as he tried to come up with a way to ask her to marry him. More to come on this story in a later posting but I am really excited for them.

The resort that we stayed at had the largest pool in Central America. We had so much fun playing and laying by it every day. The weather was so hot that it felt so good to get into the water. We even had some delightful night swims.

I always enjoy the chance to go to a different country and to enjoy the sight and food. It is also fun to be able to do it with my whole family. Thanks dad for working hard for us to enjoy nice things. Thanks to Chase and Steve for being our translators. Love you all.

WELCOME HOME ELDER WARNICK!!!!

Elder Chase Warnick return home from a faithful mission served in the Portland Oregon Spanish speaking mission. I am so excited to have him home. He is such a great brother and a wonderful example to us all.

Aruba baby!!!

I had the chance to go to a fantastic island that is not travelled to a lot. This island is Aruba.. most of the time people only have heard of it because of a Beach Boys song. (Aruba, Jamaica oooo I wanna take ya...) So alittle about the island.. it is Dutch ruled, most of the people speak English and Spanish because it is only 14 miles from Venezuela, and even though they have their own currency they still use the American dollar. I went with Brittney, her mom Greta (PS thanks you for the Jet Blue buddy passes), her sister Brooke, and Brooke's friend Stephanie.

We had so much fun... we laid out every day enjoying the warm sun and were grateful for a little breeze every day. The temperature there is constant all year round because they are so close to the equator. The high is usually around 90 degrees and the low usually only drops to 79 or 80 each night.

The ocean is amazing here... the sand is really white and leads in the pretties Caribbean blue water. It is nice a cool so it feels really good to get wet because the air is so warm. It was so much fun to hang out on the beach every day.

It was such amazing trip I would love to go back right now... until next time.

Happy Birthday Elder Warnick

Yesterday Elder Warnick turned 21!!! Wow I can't believe that he is going to be home in like 3 weeks. He is such a great missionary I am not sure that Oregon is ready for him to leave. He is such a wonderful example of humility and patience. I want to be just like my little brother and can't wait for him to be home.

Febuary 2009

So I have been really bad about updating my blog.... but what do you do? I here are just a few pictures from the few hundred that I took while I was in Portland. We had a blast once again. I decided that I would drop some treats off at my little brothers apartment. It was kind of weird to be at his place and know that he lives there but it was really fun to see the area and know that he is spreading the gospel to the people of Portland.

Ammon, Todd, J, Tanecia and I went out to the coast to play for Ammon's birthday. We stayed at this amazing beach house across from these fun tide pools. We figured out low tide and went to see what we could find... crabs... is what we found... it was sooo much fun to hang out with friends and to play on the beach.

It took Tanecia a few minutes to warm up to the idea of holding and playing with crabs......

but she got use to it really fast but I think we would still rather eat them then play with them.

The girls in the back seat of the car driving up the coast.

HAPPY 33RD BIRTHDAY AMMON!!!!

this is my favorite picture from the trip... it is just so cute of all of us and shows our true colors... we are always laughing at something... it is always fun to be together. I really miss Todd and Ammon but they are loving Portland and working at really good hospitals... plus it is fun to have them in a fun city to go visit... thanks for letting up come and play boys!!!!

JANUARY SO FAR.....

Well I guess better late then never... this year is flying by so fast. For Christmas this year my parents gave us a trip to Orlando so I thought I would show a few pictures from our trip. There are several hundred so it took me a long time to choose....

we had 5 day park hopper passes to the Walt Disney Parks. Brinley was in love with the castle she couldn't get enough of it. We had lots of fun on all of the rides and the fireworks. It really is the land where dreams come true.

This is probably one of my favorite pictures from the trip. Lindsey, Steve, dad and I had gone over to one of the rides called Soarin so mom took B over to see some of the characters. She had really liked the princess so we thought she would like Mickey and Minnie. But as you can tell from the pictures she didn't really. And the words across the bottom of the picture expresses it best.

Lindsey, Brinley, and I with "Ella" as b calls her.

I Love travelling with my family. It is so much fun to be in cool places with the people that you love. Thanks dad and mom for a great Christmas present. So other then going to the parks we got to do some golfing.

Steve, dad, and I golfed at the Grand Pines Golf Course. It was so much fun.

We had the very first tee time of the day....7:00. We arrived at 6:35 and hit a few balls in the dark at the driving range.... as we stepped up to the first tee we had a very Legend of Bagger Vance moment if you have seen the movie. There was a large bank of fog on the course so you couldn't even see the fairway. It was really cool.

We also got to cross one of our dreams off of our list. We went to the World Golf Hall of Fame. But sadly for me I don't remember a lot about the displays except for the ones in the bathroom. I was really really sick that day and sadly spent most of the day throwing up. So sad.... It is crappy to be sick on vacation.

We had a girls night out and went to the show La Nouba. It is a Cirque du Soleil show. I have seen several of these shows and really like them (Thanks Tanecia) and my mom had seen one other one, but this was Lindseys first one and I think she really liked it. If you ever have a chance to go to one of these shows do it because they are really cool. I loved my trip and can't wait for the next family vacation.
