November

And in November we

Went camping at Casper's Wilderness Park. It was a beautiful place, nice weather, and we had a great campsite. We set up camp, went on a hike, played a card game, made a fire, cooked tin foil dinners, put Connor to bed, made S'mores, and watched a movie on our laptop. Once we decided to head to bed and snuggled into our sleeping bags, Connor woke up, screamed, would not be consoled, fell back asleep for a half hour, woke up again screaming, and the cycle continued until about midnight when we put him in the car, packed up camp by the light of our headlights, and headed home. Oh well. We tried. It was fun while it lasted. We had our shake-and-pour pancakes and sausage on our griddle at home the next morning.

Connor discovered some fun places to play

We went to a USC football game

We spent Thanksgiving with my aunts, uncles and cousins in San Diego.

And we decorated for Christmas! (And by WE I mean ME, while Connor napped and Adam went rock climbing!)

Stay tuned for December, my favorite month of the year! And don't miss the following 2 posts, they're also new!

October

October brought...

General Conference and a scrumptious Sunday Brunch with friends (and of course I have pictures of the food, but not the people...go figure)

A bathtime goatee (can't pass up a good nakey shot)

A really terrible flu!! (in the first pic he's actually awake, just too tired and rotten feeling to open his eyes all the way. And in the last pic, he was sleeping so fitfully that we found him in the morning with his diaper half off, sound asleep in a puddle of pee! Poor little guy!)

Trader Joes with Mimi and Connor's first experience with a shopping cart his size. He actually pulled stuff off the shelf, studied them, and put them in the cart, just like Mommy does

Cousin lovin with Ty

The extended family Halloween party (sadly Daddy missed out this year because he had to work)

The birth of another nephew! We love you Cameron!

A Pumpkin Patch with friends, and another with Daddy

FINALLY DECIDING TO WALK!!!

And Trunk-or-Treat

Halloween itself is still fairly anticlimactic in our house since Connor is still too young to Trick-or-Treat. So on all Hallow's Eve we dressed him in Halloween jammies and sent him off to bed!
