7 Things About Me (you may or may not already know)
1. I am a notary public. If you need something notarized or "noterd" as I like to say- I can do that!
2. I am an active member of a monthly scrapbook group ( have been for a year and a half) and commit to a $25 monthly purchase but have yet to finish a single page layout. Instead I consider myself an avid collector of rubber stamps, ink pads and 12x12 paper.
3. I have a birthmark on my tongue. I know it sounds gross but its a small white spot on my tongue that has been there longer than anyone can remember- probably since birth.
4. When I was six I was impaled by rebar way up high on the inside of my left thigh. Hence the reason I could never do the splits!
5. I prefer to use only white towels in the bathroom. I use colored towels only when I HAVE to.
6. I wish I lived on a farm with lots of animals- but not the kind that eventually become dinner- just ones you name and have as pets.
7. I love thunderstorms and lots of lightning! Monsoon season in AZ is my favorite time of year for that reason and because I like to hunt for the frogs that come with it!

Okay- I was tagged by my sister Kari twice this week and I am trying to catch up. Easiest one first: The Wedding Tag!
1. Where did you meet your husband?
I found him online- kind of- I emailed a band and he was the person who responded. We found out later that we had actually hung out together with mutual friends on a few previous occasions.
2. What was the first thing you said to your husband?
In person- I said "Hi- Chris? I'm Kayci!"
3. Where was your first date?
He picked me up on his motorcycle and we went to In-and-Out with a bunch of his friends and then we all went swimming.
4. Where was your first kiss?
In the pool on our first date :)
5. Did you have a long or short engagement?
It was six months long.
6. Where did you get engaged?
On the grounds of the Mesa Temple.
7. Where were you married?
In an Aunt and Uncle's backyard in Mesa in '03 and at the Mesa Temple in '05!
8. How did the reception go?
It was very simple but really pretty out in the backyard with all the trees lit with white lights and lots of candles and tons of desserts!
9. How was the honeymoon?
We went to Washington D.C. for four or five days and had so much fun that we're still anxious to go back! We saw all kinds of historical stuff and ate a different type of ethnic food for each meal. It was like being everywhere all at once! We were so worn out by the end of our trip from hiking all over town but it was well worth it!

The Torch Has Been Passed
I've been given creative control of our family Blog! Chris got tired of having to "keep up" so he turned it over to ME!

not much going on
Having a hard time keeping up with this. Chris is back in school with no breaks until November so we're not doing a whole lot. Here's some pics of Kayci and the boys from the other day. They are growing so fast!
