Christmas favorites... I know.. we're past that now, but I seem to only post once a year, so here's the last few months in a nutshell.

Don't be too impressed how this blog turns out. I still can't figure out how to get all the pictures and words where they're supposed to be.. so just overlook all that stuff and someone come give me a blogging lesson! ;)

Gabe's 15th birthday~! We can't believe he's so old! He reminds me often how he gets to drive soon!

Mom and dad came to visit.. the visit was too short, but we did a lot. Inculding mom's new 'room'.. and a visit to the DC Temple.

Kate insisted on wearing her "Santa" dress to her school program. It was great. She really gets into her singing with her friends!

Ah... does summer have to end?

Our youth leader at church is so awesome. She spends a week every summer doing a theatre camp with the youth and then they perform at the end of the week for the ward. This was Liv's first time becuase she's "finally" old enough.(She's very proud to be in YW now).. This year they put on the play of Ammon and King Lamoni. It was really great and they had a lot of fun!

Gabe and Olivia in the Sacred Grove. We took a trip with the youth two weeks ago. It was great and Liv's first time up there. Aren't they so cute? ;)

Kate and Cameryn dressing up. One of their favorite things to do.

We had a bird lay eggs inside our basketball hoop. Unfortunately the babies couldn't get out of the nest and we couldn't reach them. All four died. Christian just had to look.

Our Youth also took a trip to Palmyra a few weeks before their theatre camp. This was Gabe and Liv at the campfire.

Kate's new house she got for her birthday. If it wasn't in the basement I'm sure it would get more use! :) Maybe we should get that thing finished. :)

The neighborhood has had fun selling lemonade. They actually made $25 bucks! Too bad they had to split it between six of them!

Summer Days

This is the fun I've been having. James has been home the last week so we've been planting, digging up the yard, and having a great time! I love working outside...and I love my new yard. Why don't you all come see! ;)

School and birthdays and randomness.. :)

July was full of birthday fun. We spent the day in New York City for Liv's birthday and a soccer game of Gabe's. Lizzy Jenkins came along for the fun...Liv's great friend from Boston. We opened presents in Central Park, went rowing in Central Park, took a taxi ride shopping and ate some delicious NY pizza! It was a great day! Among all the gifts... the camera was by far the favoite!

The cake was the biggest cake we've ever made at our house. Liv wanted a checker board.. Lizzy and Liv spent a good hour making and frosting.. It turned out pretty great and tasted delicious too!

Kate turned 5! It was a great day.. flower cakes, pinata and presents.. What more could a five year old want? :) Besides a dog and a pool and cat and a barbie and dog and a donut store.. Did I mention a dog? Sorry chicky.. not this year!

Liv thought she should ride the pinata instead of stuff him! Silly girl..

Goodbye 2nd grade and preschool!

The kids had a great year but don't want the new year to start yet!
