February...March...April...May...

Life has kept us so busy that we haven't had much time to update the blog. It is really funny how much time can pass without realizing it. Our last post was five months ago!! WOW! So here are some things that have happened since then:

Brooke celebrated her 21st birthday, Roeinna met the Easter bunny and didn't cry, we bought a house (a real fixer-upper which photos will be posted later), Roeinna is now 9 months and Mikey will turn 30 on Tuesday! Once this blog starts working better we will get more pictures on. Love yall!

Well it's been a while so lets catch up.

To catch you up on the past few months lets start back when we sold our house in November. Crazy enough as it seems the house sold in five days and we got full asking price -we really see this as a blessing. We keep thinking that our time was done in Logan and now we can be closer to our family...how close? -in the basement of course. Brooke's parents were generous enough to let us hang out at their place until we could show on paper we could afford another home of our own. Mikey is working still as a cake decorator but is anxious to find a job in his writing field. Roeinna turned five months old today! It is hard to believe that she is getting so big. Daddy has a hard time playing "flying Roe" with her cause she is a whopping 15 pounds...wears out the arms. :) We also just spent the last few weeks with a lot of family, so we thought we would post some pictures of that. It has been wonderful to be home again!

Changes Are Coming Our Way...

With graduation coming in December we thought we should go a head a put our house on the market. Little did we know that it would sell in five days. Now we have been spending all our free time packing up everything. It was sooner than expected, but we really feel the Lord has blessed us once again with letting it sell so fast. The last few weeks of school will be a tough commute on Mikey, but we will have to work through it.

Time has past so quickly and it is hard to believe that Roeinna is already three months old. She is such a blessing to have. We never thought parenting could be so wonderful. We don't even mind the nights without sleep...well, we miss them, but don't mind. Recently Roe has done some exciting things. While playing peek a boo with her daddy she started to laugh. It surprised us so much that we laughed harder than she did. Luckily mom was able to catch the last bit of her giggles on her cell phone. Then two days later she rolled over. Roe doesn't like to be held too much anymore, she prefers to be sitting straight up or standing. It is just so crazy how fast she is growing. Sometimes we wish she would slow down so we can enjoy her little...she gets heavy after a while. :)

Here is Brooke and Roeinna on Halloween. We all went as M&M's for the annual party, but we dressed Roe in this cute outfit for the trunk or treat.

And finally what goes better with a cute little girl than an over sized bow. Notice how long her hair is getting. The other day her grandma was able to put it in pig tails.

Our Baby is Growing up...

Roeinna is getting so big!

She has gained a pound from her birth weight and is very healthy--soon she will be able to fit into 0-3 month clothes. We are excited cause she has so many cute dresses that are extremely too big for her now.

Roe loves to smile at her Daddy and Mommy and talk to the angels that hide over head. She is doing really good with her tummy time and loves to do push ups. Her little legs move bag and forth and you know she is just wanting to move around. We truly feel blessed with having her as a part of our lives. She is so very special.

Roe had her baby blessing last Sunday and we will soon post some pictures of her in her dress. Thank you everyone who came out to support us. We feel that we are loved by many and that you all truly bless our lives. Keep in Touch!

Our Little Girl

Roeinna is now over a week old and being a parent is an awesome experience. She makes us so happy and complete. Even when she is waking us up in the middle of the night we cant help but to love her even more. It's a very grown up experience to have someone so incredibly dependant on everything you do for them. It is a good reminder of how the Lord wants us to be with him--dependant as a child.

Roeinna's aunt, Stephanie came over with Uncle Courtney, Izzy, and Ean on Wednesday to visit. Roeinna got to do a photo shoot with her aunt who took some amazing photos of her. We can't wait to blow some of them up and put up on our walls. We've attached a few so you can enjoy Steph's hidden talents. Hope you enjoy them.

Roeinna Marie was born August 5th, 2009. She weighted in at 7lbs 13 oz. Height was 20 1/2 inches. She came with a full head of dark blond hair and a face like her mother's...beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Mommy and baby are doing great! Thanks everyone for your prayers and support. We love you all.
