He has arrived...

I am so excited, baby Luke has arrived. I am now an aunt! My brother and sister in law Sam and annie just had their first baby Saturday evening. We have been waiting patiently for him to come and he is finally here and just as precious as ever. Congrats to them!

So much going on...

Cache just keeps changing everyday, I can't keep up! So a few things that have developed...1) Cache just talks and talks. He will get my cell phone and have a full conversation with himself, including laughing and saying all the words he knows. He loves to call his grandma's and talk to them and knows how to say grandma and grandpa. 2) So a few days ago Cache had a poopy diaper and I asked him if he wanted to go in his potty (I have a potty in his bathroom that he doesn't ever use but knows what it is.) So we wiped him off and sat him on his potty and he PEED!!! So exciting. So then like 2 days later he told me he had to potty and we sat on his potty and he peed even more! Wow it was so exciting. It has definently not been a regular occurance but at least we are on the right track. 3) Cache has been going to nursery at church by himself. Yeah! This is so great since as some of you know he does not like to go to places by himself. 4) Today I was cleaning up dinner and cache was standing over by the fridge with his arms folded talking to himself. I realized what he was doing when he said amen...he was saying a prayer. It was the funniest thing ever. So Cute!
Ok so these are just the things I can recall off the top of my head since it has been so long since my last post. Things have been good for us lately except that I have been feeling really homesick lately. I have been trying to keep myself busy with painting (Cache's room and the toy room) I will post pictures later. I am also taking an upholstery class once a week. I think it is so much fun and it feels so good to go and get something done without being interupted. So the next time you hear from me I will be a auntie (for the first time.) Come baby Luke come! I am so excited.
