resolutions

I love making resolutions.
I suck at keeping them.
So this will be my go to resolution for 2012.
Because I could, in all reality,
try to be WAY more awesome in all parts of my life.

More awesome at:
Spending time with my kids...
Reading scriptures as a family...
making scrumptious meals for my family...
visiting teaching...(ugh. I totally suck at that)
family home evenings.
food storage.
Remembering birthdays.
Making holidays special.
dishes.
laundry.
budgeting.
and the list could go on forever.
So I'll just sum it up by sticking with
More awesome than last year.

The cute Relief Society President hurried over
and sat by me after Sunday School yesterday...
"So I heard a rumor..." is all she said.
I smiled.
The one about me eating nothing but
cucumbers + lemons + cheese
for the past three months? (not all together! yuck.)
or the one about me being preggo?
because there both slightly true.
and kinda go hand in hand.

Today I'm 12 weeks and 1 day!
however, my doc office thinks I'm 12 weeks + 5 days...
I have planned C-sections, and really the only benefit
to that is knowing exactly when you'll have your baby.
As it stands now, little Junior would arrive
July 15, 2012
and because of my little case of OCD
thats no bueno for me.
Its not unlucky to me...
It doesn't bring up bad memories...
(infact its one of my best friends birthdays!)

I just don't like certain numbers.
(and months. and nickels. and mulberries. ew.)
So according to my calculations
our little boy(total speculation..kinda.)
will be here

July 10, 2012

And we couldn't be more excited about it!
We really do feel just positively blessed.

Happy New Year!

This is where the boys and I
spent this first day of the new year.
Where Pres. Hafen asked Wy and I to be Trek Parents.
and my dad had a cow when I told him I was considering going
at eight months pregnant.
(Wy said he would build a little handcart
and push me the entire way)
This is also where I tripped over Grady
and we both ended up in the middle of the aisle
in Sacrament meeting.
And where Brother Fiso saved my life
by taking Bentley from me and using his magical touch
to instantly make him fall asleep...
(love that man.)

This is where Brother Oliver spent the first day of 2012.
He drove 10 hours with Brother Haun + son.
They sat on the very top row of the Raiders Stadium
where Wy had a perfect view of the Oakland Temple.
[Mwhaha I couldn't of planned it better myself.]
The Raiders lost (because it was the Sabbath day.)
and the boys turned around a drove straight home.
But Wyatt said he had a really great time
and I guess he deserves that every now and again.

I've always been excited for the year 2012
I have OCD when it comes to numbers
(and many other things)
but I just know 2012 is gonna be a good year.
and not just because the worlds gonna end.
