Inspirations

Kelsey and Morgan both entered Inspirations this year.  Morgan got a ribbon for participation for his painting "The Little Orange River" and Kelsey got first place for her choreography of "Morning" and is going to regionals.  I know she looks thrilled. huh?  She didn't want her picture taken-bwhahahahahaha!
What can I say? Love my talented kids :)
(even the one who didn't want to enter this year!)

Breaks are Good

Winter Break = a night at Chuck -E-Cheese
There was fine assortment of bling to choose from in the prize case.
Dontcha love the ticket machines that "munch" your tickets while counting them?

Kelsey and Morgan . So cute

It was great not having to rush because "it's a school night"!  Love vacations! Need I say more?

Wiggin Out

So, we visited Meagan and she found some wigs for her and Morgan.

This is kinda shaggy rocker style on Morgan

But this is my favorite.  SO FUNNY!

A Summer Outing

In July, when Kelsey and Aidan were visiting their aunt in California my Mom and Dad and I took the little cousins on a field trip.  We went to the airplane museum at Hill Airforce Base.  Morgan loved his map of the place.

Boy those little ones ran all over the place.  Run run run and get rid of your energy mwahahahahahaha!

I had to snap a pic of this scene.  My Dad driving the VW Vanagon and my mom in the front seat.  This is a classic scene from my childhood.  Mom never drove dad's cars on account of them being manuals. I remember family vacations where dad was driving and we would be going through farm country-all fields look the same after a while- and I would veg out with my walkman listening to my sisters U2 cassette tapes.  Yes, I said cassette tapes-old school here people-it was the late 80's early 90's.  Me and my brother and sister would trade places from time to time and once in a while mom came in the backseat and one of us got to sit upfront.  It was GRAND.   I've been to pretty much all the western states and even some of Canada-all while riding in a VW Vanagon. And every once in a while my kids get to experience a small taste of my childhood too.

Spring Break was Great

A Goose nesting in one of the arches in the Secret Garden
Here are some pictures of our outing to Thanksgiving Point for the Tulip Festival.

Love the Italian Garden and its cascading fountain.

The Children's Discovery Garden was open too.  It sure kept Morgan happy.

See the exotic tulip varieties?

Yes- we get around in style ;)

How Glow Can You Go?

Just a few random shots of the four of us under a black light.
