I'm thinking about changing this blog to a strictly "young gentleman's" blog (that is, until Jnco sized sweat pants are all the rage again..). We all know that financial times are tough right now. Most of us aren't running to the nearest boutique to buy up all our favorite designers new threads. My friend Demetri has an accessory line called SLAYHER, and I was delighted when he gave me a custom made necklace/mask as a gift. The neck fabric is a cotton jersey, the long black strips are leather and devilishly hanging from them are metal sticks. Genius. Thank you thank you!

My hubby often likes to experiment with this look (not pictured). The phases of the Fashion Beard go as follows; Week one, painful for me. Week two, the beard has soften and we're both pretty happy. Week three, itchy for him. Week four, intensely itchy for him. Week five, The Fashion Beard is gone, and we start the process all over again!

This has to be one of my favorite outfits I've seen so far this fall. Normally I wouldn't be so into brown leather jacket with brown leather boots, but for some reason this is really working for her. Maybe the browns are just different enough from eachother? Maybe that little plaid dress and those cream leggings are so good that the brown leathers don't even matter any more? I'm not really sure, but I like it!
