Milking Soda Pop

 Soda Pop is a Saneen Goat. She give about 1/2 gallon of milk a day. She is a good girl and stands still. This is our first time goat milking, so I am very happy she is a good girl. My hubby built me this milking stand, hes so handy to have around!!!

Backyard Blue Jays

 

We like to buy peanuts from the feed store and fill up our bird bath. We then watch the blue Jays come to take them away. Sometimes we can get 10-15 blue jays at one time. Sometimes the simple things in life can bring the most enjoyment!!

Soda Pop

I would like you to meet our newest resident milking goat, Soda Pop. Soda Pop is a saneen goat. She produces 1/2 of a gallon of milk a day.  She is a super sweete pie and is adjusting really well to her new home with us.

 Soda Pop is a very nosey lady. She keeps her eye on me wherever I go.

Driving Horses

Line Driving Lizzie. Lizzie is a "spunky" horse. Danny has been working with her, she loves to be in charge and it just cant be that way.

 This is Mary. She is Isaacs pony. She is a sweetie and loves to pull carts.

 She also loves to pull her pony sleigh in the snow. Mary is super personal and I just love her!

This is my Bunny Run. We have 3 angora bunnies.

              This is Thumper and he is a Jersey Wooley. He is actually half the size of the other rabbits. His breed does not usually get over 3 lbs and they are super gentle and docile.

          Sometimes I shave them down, especially in the spring and sometimes I harvest the wool with a brush. We love love love our rabbits. Thumper is a boy and just for fun I put him with my two girls last week. We never had babies!! So I am excited to see what happens!
