We had a clipper malfunction and Ethan's hair turned out a little shorter then planned, but it's growing, and it's really cute!

It's a miracle.... 2 posts in one day

So... Ethan's letter factory DVD just finished playing, and he was watching the menu for a few minutes, I hadn't turned it off yet... Ethan goes and finds the DVD remote control, points it at the TV, and presses play.... then he goes and sits on his sofa and watches the DVD. I was so impressed I let him watch it again.

New Post

I thought I would go ahead and write a new post... I have been a slacker! Ethan will be a year and a half in a few weeks, which is just crazy!! I cannot believe it. He has learned how to climb a bit the last few weeks. He can stand on my leg and climb on the couch, and he can climb on his music table which is fun. Just a minute ago I caught him climbing on the window sill to peek over the rocking chair.

He's been teething like crazy the last few weeks, the poor baby will go without food for a day! He has all of his first year molars ... And is working on his Cuspids (canines) now.

We have not had bottles during the day for the last 3 days... But he still won't drink milk from a sippy cup. He still gets his bedtime bottle, so that's the only milk he's getting. We're still deciding if it's worth taking the bottle away during the day if he doesn't get enough milk.

Ethan is talking really good.. He says about 40 words. He has been learning 5 or so words each week. None of them are perfectly clear, but we are proud of him. His newest words are uh-oh and car.

He has been really liking DVD's lately. He'll bring us a DVD, show it to us, then take it to the DVD player and put it on top of it. Sometimes he even turns the DVD player on for us. It's pretty impressive! His favorite videos are veggie tales and leap frog letter factory. He also likes to watch sesame street.

We got Ethan's blood taken this week, to make sure his iron levels were better... and guess what! They are all better. We are very excited because it's hard to digest our iron supplements.

Ethan is also off of Prevacid, which is a big accomplishment. He still has to take reflux medicine sometimes unfortunately, but we are on a milder version, Zantac.

Sorry it took me so long to update! I'll try to be better :)
