Clumsy Stories 2nd Edition

So here is a story from my clumsy past that I thought I would share because I recently came across the diagram of it to explain it to my classmates.
So in the days of yore I was living in a small town in Southern Virginia and of course the only place to shop was Wal-mart and of course the only thing to do was to shop at Wal-mart, so me and my good old friends set out to make a day of it. So I used to do this thing where I would take the cart and go fast and slide on my tippy toes…..so I thought I would show my friends how cool I was but I forgot about how there was nothing in the cart but pudding and juice, making it so the balance that I was used to was thrown off…..so of course I go straight for the floor and the cart stands straight up and wheels into the a kiosk…… Val and Kristen are laughing so hard at this point that my only rescue attempt is a old redneck guy that helps me pick myself up and de-wedge the cart with the discombobulated pudding and juice……….

Oh Wally World, I think you still have Diane’s dignity………

New York, New York!

Oh how I miss NYC! More today then any other day. I miss the hustle and bustle of the city, the various different people and cultures, and of course of the Hot Dogs! Here is a picture i took the last time I was there of a classic New York couple on the subway, please notice the man bag and fur coat. I would love to be them in 40 years.

Sonata

"What a Year I’m Having!!!"
(name that movie)
I am not giving up HOPE…..this is my theme for the year:

“Love has a funny way of coming around again. It's kind of like a sonata, every sonata has three movements, and the first one, the melody, is new... often lively. But the second part, the part you're hearing right now, things can get a little dark and murky, and you can't always hear the theme. But the third part always comes back to the beginning. Things have a way of working themselves out….”

My Part THREE is coming soon I can FEEL it….

Home

Humans are born with the desire to roam the earth. We crawl, then walk, then run, all in an effort to move further away from where they came from... HOME. I know firsthand the thrill of what changing one's surroundings can do for one's heart, and now I also know that sometimes staying HOME and letting others go can be its own fantastic journey. Because when you let go of something, you make room for something else entirely, something you never expected, something that makes "HOME" seem like its own unexpected adventure... A trip where new treasures are found around every old corner, for the world and all its complexities come right to your doorstep. Because, in the end, the power is not just with those who go away, but also in what they leave behind...

Clumsy Stories 1st Edition

I make a fool out of myself on a daily basis so I am pretty used to the embarrassment that follows. So when one is worth sharing I will make a little post so we can all laugh about it together.

One I would like to share right now is when I was at my best friends mother's funeral last week and it was snowing. So as we are going to the gravesite the funeral director that we called Phillip or Phil (because he looked like Phillip Seymour Hoffman)

is nice enough to give me an umbrella. I open the sucker up and POP! I push it too far and break it! So he gives me a new one and says "When you hear the click, you should stop there". Yep! I am a ReRe!!!! Sorry Phil!
