This is my 99 R6 after Neil did a really nice paint job on it. When gas prices were headed for $4-5/gal, I reconsidered my 30yr ban on motorcycles (I had one in college.). I was hoping for 50-60mpg, & was a little disappointed, but it is made for performance & fun (which it does a good job at), instead of mileage. The Suburban gets about 10, my 90 Honda Si gets about 30, & this gets about 42.

Sorry about all the up & downs & going off-screen, etc. It's pretty hart to stay focused & drift in/ paddle a kayak & compensate for the waves, & follow a moving target, & I'm just getting used to the camera & learning about it. The really bad shots were taken out, but if I took out everything tthat was not steady, there wouldn't have been much left. I've experimented with several different ways of trying to stay on subject while sooming. Most of them came after this part & not all of them worked well. The camera doesn't have a viewfinder--you have to look at the little LCD & my eyes are bad up close. My latest attempt is: I have taped a secton on drinking straw to the top of the camera to sight through. I think it works fairly well, but haven't had any really good tests of it yet.

This is from about June, when we went to Westport. My knee was still messed up, so I didn't go in this time. But I needed to learn the video, anyway. So heres Surfin' Mamma at Westport.
Just learning my new video camera (Canon Vixia HF10) & editing software. This video is edited with using a trial of Pinnacle VideoSpin 2.0 until my Corel Video Studio comes.
