Birthdays, Easter, Vacation

We went to Yosemite over Easter break with my brother Bryan and his family. We had a great time and had beautiful weather until the evening before we left. We got in all the hikes and then it started to snow on our way back to the cabin. That night it snowed 1 1/2 -2 feet and made the ride home a bit scary, especially with all the people who are snow driving challenged!!!

Jacob turned 16!!!! Hard to believe. He will get his license in June. He's excited, we are not.

Andrew's Baptism

Andrew's baptism was small and intimate. It was nice to have both sets of Grandparents come and talk. Hannah sang a beautiful song and Andrew accompanied her. Micheal played the opening song. My brother Bryan and his family came and some of our best friends were there as well. It was great!!!

Andrew has never had a birthday party with friends. We told him when he turned 8 he could have a big one!!! He had about 9 of his friends and they had Battlefield Live come. They set up army barracks and have laser guns. It is a boys dream!!!!!

Jacob and five other boys from our ward got their Eagles. It was a great program and best of all.....now he can drive (Yipeeee....NOT). Jacob had to get his Eagle before he could drive.

Disneyland

I know, who in their right mind would choose to go to Disneyland, the happiest place on earth on New Years Eve Day???? Unfortunatlely ourselves and 80,000 other people did. Jonathan is not a Disneyland lover, but when he heard his brother Matt from Utah and his family would be there he jumped on it!!! We knew it would be so busy, but did get to ride a lot of rides. Jared and his cousins Alex and Garrett were riding the river ride at California adventures in the freezing cold. Luckily it was the last ride of the night as they got really wet.

Christmas Break Snowboarding!!!

Our family went up to Alta Sierra a couple of times for some snowboarding (not me of course since I can barely keep myself up on skis.) The boys have all gotten snowboards over the last year for birthdays and Christmas. They love it and Jonathan has really gotten it down as well. I have decided to try snowboarding next time we go. We will see!!!! Andrew is great......I guess the younger you start them the easier it is???
