Temple Square

This post is for Jazzea, she told me that Halloween was a long time ago and it was time that I updated the blog. Here is when we went to temple square to look at the lights. I could barely zip up my coat with my 35 week belly but I could still do it!!

Halloween Weekend!!

We had such a fun halloween weekend!! It started out on friday by carving pumpkins. Greg and I weren't real excited to do it, but Livi was!! She loved it. I love holidays but they are definitley way more fun with kids!! Livi loved halloween!! While Greg was helping her carve the pumpkin, she kept saying this is so much fun! Finally she looked at me and said, "mom, someday you should be a daddy!" I asked her why and she said so I could carve pumpkins too. She is pretty funny!! She loved taking the guts out and everything!Then Halloween started out with some ghost pancakes and making mummy dogs for lunch. And then dressing up to go trick-or-treating and to Grandma Ropers house. We sure had a great halloween!!Our cute pumpkin!!

We sure had a great time on our little ATV trip. We started the trip out real good by blowing a tire on Gail's trailer.

I love that Livi is puffing in the picture above!! Everyone bundled up real good because it was pretty dusty! Here is grandma Roper before we started the second day.

Lake Powell

We were able to go to Lake Powell for the second time this year a couple of weeks ago! We went with my dads side of the family. We were sad that none of my family was able to go but we are sure glad that we were able to enjoy it with them earlier this summer! We are so lucky and we had so much fun! It was so nice to go in september and enjoy the cooler weather!

Livi's B-day & 1st day of Preschool

Livi LOVES her new bike that she got for her birthday! Her other one got ran over so hopefully she will learn where to park this one. She also had her first day of school on her birthday and was so excited to bring her all about me poster and the snack for class.

Labor Day!

My family came to visit over Labor Day weekend and we had so much fun! We started the weekend out by doing some canning. Sorry for making fun of you for posting about your canning last year mom...Then Greg and my Dad took Livi and Jazzea on a motorcycle ride to pick corn that we enjoyed while watching the BYU game. And the girls made some fall pumpkins that turned out real cute!

We sure had a great weekend!! Can't wait for you to come and visit again!!

It's true...

We are going to have a baby!! We are so excited and can't wait for our little girl to join our family at the begining of January!! Looks like our cute blue room needs a little change, but I have yet to talk Greg into letting me change it. He says it has to stay blue.. So we'll see. I'm 21 weeks now and have been feeling good the whole time, so I've been way lucky! We are way excited for this addition in our family!

Catch Up!! 24th of July

We had such a fun 24th weekend! Greg and Brett drove to Wyoming and got us some fireworks for a "joyous occasion" as Greg called it. It's not a very good picture of Greg and Lane lighting them but they were so happy and were loving it!! There were definitely some illegal ones and all of our neighbors went inside, probably not wanting to get introuble...These were the sparklers that they got that were seriously like 3 feet long. They were way fun and pretty heavy to hold up too! Livi loved doing the sparklers and so did everyone else!

Our Front Yard!!

Greg loves doing his very first yard!! We have grass, trees, shrubs, and flowers now in our front yard and we love it!! Greg did an awesome job!! He's already mowed and edged the lawn a couple of times and pruned our shrubs! Livie can't wait to lay on the grass and have picnics on our grass!!

The Zoo!!

Livie and I went to the zoo today with a lot of Roper cousins. We had so much fun seeing the animals, playing at the park, and riding the train. Thanks for a fun day!!
