A Walk in the Woods

On a recent trip to Utah, Mark and Chris took time on a Saturday to hike from the base of Park City to Jupiter Peak (10,000 feet above sea level).  It took about 4 hours to get to the summit and 2 hours to descend.  Rex decided to bike to the peak---arriving at the same time as Mark & Chris.  It was an epic hike through the beautiful fall colors.

Elise's First Day of School

This picture was taken before Elise's first day of school.  She is loving it!  She and her cousin Mark carpool together to and from school----then spend the remainder of the day riding scooters, bikes and perhaps dabbling in a little dress up.

Timberman Triathlon

Em and I competed in the Timberman Sprint Triathlon in New Hampshire on August 17th.  Other than leaving the dock at 5:30am, the whole event was a lot of fun.  Em had just crossed the finish line in this picture----but she's always good for a photogenic smile (even though she was close to losing her breakfast)!

It's been a rainy summer at the lake, but the girls are enjoying time with cousins and friends.  We took this photo right after getting home from church a couple of weeks ago.  It's always nice to get a photo of Jane smiling (somewhat)----because she is having some issues smiling in front of a camera.  :)

"Grandma's Lake"

Elise and Jane have enjoyed their short time at Lake Winnipesaukee this summer.  After swimming the width of Grandma's pool at home, Elise is getting ready to swim between the dock and the floating dock in the Grandma's lake.  Jane loves kicking around in her orange innertube.  Chris and Emily are training for the sprint triathlon in mid-August.

Welcome to our other family site.  We finally converted to Apple, but in the process lost our ability to edit our other web site (www.thehardyfamily.org).  So we'll settle for this for a little while.  Thanks for stopping by!
